Success, I posted that code in and voila, a working widget. Seems like the instructions are were incorrect during setup since they explicitly give you the embed code. Good to hear you are addressing for future revisions and glad we resolved it.Thanks again for your help. Greatly appreciated!

Okay, added the string #skribitWidgetContainer { float:left } to CSS for site and no change. I have Skribit installed as a plugin and the widget had been dragged to the sidebar control area like my other widgets. The header appears but no content. if you want to see what it looks like, cjsparno.com is domain name. I am using the Wordpress template Mystique.

A perfect example of why any Linux implementation is not ready for consumer installs. 90% of the netbook population will have no idea how to do this or what this even means. 100% compatible should mean that. I guess it is still beta and it is free, so having most of the stuff work as well as it did was a blessing. And they did do a great job overall. This is the same problem that MS has supporting 1000s of hardware configs and why Macs work so well - one company owns the entire widget (HW and OS). Hopefully they will address this in future updates and mere mortals will not need to "recompile" anything. Its like wanting to make scrambled eggs but first needing to learn how to genetically engineer the chicken.

same here, its frustrating. Especially since this Acer Aspire D150 is on the compatible hardware list.
