A comment on the problem "Mac keyboard shortcuts to take shots not working" in TinyGrab:
Sorry for the lack of a team response here, the American's are working hard on sorting out app issues and I've suffered a family loss.
TinyGrab doesn't actually take screenshots. Screenshot taking is still controlled by your OS. TinyGrab scans certain folders looking for files tagged as screenshots. If we see a recent one, we upload it. This isn't a perfect way of doing it, so we are rewriting the way in which TinyGrab detects screenshots.
I'm awfully sorry for these problems. If your computer is not producing a screenshot, then TinyGrab cannot upload it. Please check your hotkey settings for screenshots in the "Keyboard" settings panel, within System Preferences. – Chris Leydon, on November 11, 2009 16:35

Hello Erin,
TinyGrab only supports Mac OS X 10.5 and above.
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of TinyGrab from http://tinygrab.com/download.php and that TinyGrab is running from a writable folder (eg Applications folder)

Chris Leydon replied on November 08, 2009 17:32 to the idea "Short-URLs on Custom FTP Server?" in TinyGrab:
Hey guys.
In order for you to be able to get short URLs on your server, much in the same way that TinyGrab does with /abc, you'd have to create a MySQL database and allow TinyGrab access. In effect, you'd have to build your own version of TinyGrab and use our app. This just isn't practical (and could drive us out of business).
We are currently looking into letting you specify how many 'digits' to have after your FTP grabs. TinyGrab will be effectively renaming the files so the URL you'll get will be http://yourdomain.tld/path/xxx.png
This is all we can do, without messing with your servers directly.
Enjoy the app and sorry for the wait on the response!

Chris Leydon replied on November 08, 2009 17:26 to the problem "Dual Screen Upload Issue - OS X" in TinyGrab:
Hello Brian,
TinyGrab merely uploads files created by your OS. What should be happening is these files should be forming some sort of que to be uploaded.
It is possible that your Spotlight index is a little out of whack. TinyGrab relies on Spotlight technology so a reindex might help you out here.
