I see, thanks for the update.
Let's first delete the log file in question, the path is "C:\Windows\mvFPGAUpdtLog.txt".
Is Carousel running under an Administrator account on this particular system? If not could you log in as an administrator and execute mvfpgaupdater.exe once, it should execute without errors. Then you can resume Carousel operations under its usual user account. The mvfpgaupdater.exe's path is "C:\Program Files\Matrox DSX.utils\system\drivers\MvFPGAUpdater.exe".
Could you also double check which version of the matrox dsx.utils you're currently running by opening the Matrox X.Info application which is located in the taskbar notification area. Right click on the 'M' icon and there should be a "Matrox DSX.utils Version: " line in the System tab, under the System information category.

hey Tim, it looks like a Matrox driver set installation issue. The mvfpgaupdater application needs to successfully run at least once before it takes itself out of the auto startup list. This application is scheduled to run at boot time though - do these problems coincide with a reboot of the Carousel system?
If that's the case then we can check if mvfpgaupdater.exe is in Windows' startup or services list. From the start menu select 'run...' and type 'msconfig' to start the system configuration utility. Once it's started go in the 'Startup' tab and see if mvfpgaupdater.exe is present. If it's inside this list you can uncheck the box next to its name so it doesn't automatically start again. You can do the same check from within the 'services' tab of the system configuration utility. You'll want to hide microsoft services from this window to reduce the clutter a bit.

hey Tom, could you please call our support team on Monday - (866) 866-4118 x2 and mention case #4420. Supporting alternate sampling rates in mpeg files is currently being evaluated. If you could help us identify what sampling rates you'll be needing and provide us with one or mulitple sample files it'd help us investigate our future options.
