Groups on identi.ca are not accounts.
They are more a collection of notices that people can follow and post to.

I'm not really sure what you mean about some of your Twitter accounts being groups.
In an identi.ca group, the posts to that group are made by any account who is a member of that group.

When moved to Twitter would you want it to say:
"groupAccount: groupMember: There's a really neat link here (...) !groupAccount" ?

Hey.
So, yes. This is our problem.

The reason is that after the move to the new platform we're still having some configuration issues.
Our jabber client is using more memory than it should.

While we're fixing the problem we've decided to work-around it by just restarting it when it gets too greedy.
We feel that this is better than having it not run at all.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved fairly soon, but in the meantime you might have to put up with the minor annoyance.

Ok.
When you're logged in to identi.ca, at the top is a link called "Connect".
Then there's a tab on that page called "Twitter".

That should be what you are looking for.
