We are planning to TRY to get this enhancement into ACS Version 10.4, currently scheduled for the April/May 2010 timeframe. However, if the release is taking longer than expected, this enhancement may get bumped until later.

We don't plan to do this because having the location of the child on the parent's badge violates the security of the check-in system. However, we are planning to create a way for people with the proper rights to be able to look up a child to see where that child is located.

With this feature, if a mom brings the child to church and the dad doesn't know where to pick him up, he can go to a central volunteer station and ask them to tell him where his child is. Of course, he could also ask mom when she gives him the badge to pick up the child as well. Either way would work.

This look-up feature is planned for ACS Version 10.4, currently scheduled for the April/May 2010 timeframe.

We have no plans to add the name of the child to the parent's badge. We feel this would violate the security of the check-in system. Lori, we will be happy to try to work with you to find a different way to help you with your problem!
