I found out that switch is transmitting Auto-negotiation pulses when I disable port, but it has all Technology Ability Bits set to 0. It advertises that it is not capable of any communication. It seems that when EM1202 or EM1000 receives this AN (Auto-negotiation) burst it puts it in some mode that only reboot can "wake" it up. Maybe if I could be able to turn off auto-negotiation on EM1202 it would solve the problem. Can you consider putting some TIOS functions that control the ethernet PHY chip?

ETHERNET LINK PROBLEM!I have Extreme Networks' ethernet switch model SUMMIT X150-24t. It is managable switch. On that switch it is connected our device with EM1202+RJ1202 integrated in it. Everything works fine until I disable the port on the switch and then enable it back. After I disable the port link goes down and leds on the switch and EM1202 turns off, which is expected. But when I enable the port link doesn't go up and it stucks in down state until I manually reset EM1202. Same thing is happening if I reboot the switch (through the console) or if I turn the swithch off and than on again. Also same thing is happening regardless of port configuration (auto-negotiation off, speed 100 Mb/s, full duplex). Also same is happening with EM1000 module on your development board.
But I should notice that this is not happening with EM203 and EM200 modules. It is also not happenig with other switches (not managable ones) or when I connect EM1202 directly on PC and then disable and enable NIC. Also it is not happenig with other devices connected on switch (PC)
Every time when network administrator is playing around with switch and configures ports or power failure occurs on switch, EM1202 loses link. It is a big problem for us since equipement is already instaled at our customer and power failures do happen sometimes, also admin sometimes resets the switch (uprgading firmware for example).
If you have any idea what could be wrong please help us. I already played around with port configurations and tried everything. Although I'm not sure but I think it is probably something with EM1202. Best way would be if you could try it for yourself, maybe with some other managable switch.

I have problems upgrading my basic application when I use fd.copyfirmware method. If I upload *.tpc file (I assume this is the compiled binary) to the flash and use fd.copyfirmware it corrupts the TiOS (fast green-red-green-red led pattern). If I upload TiOS first and then immediatly .tpc file after it to the flash and use fd.copyfirmware then TiOS can not find my application in flash (fast red led pattern). How to store application in flash so it can be used after fd.copyfirmware? I am sending file as 128 byte pieces and store it as 256 byte to the flash. So two pieces go to one flash sector, starting with sector 0.

I want something like the button UPGRADE in DS Manager. It works even if the device is behind router. Now I can only upload new application with device explorer if device is in the same network segment and it uses broadcasts for this. Sometimes I can not drive hundreds of km to upload new version. It would be very nice if I could only send a file and user would upgrade it by himself. As far as I now your device server application firmware uses component called net loader which uploads compiled binary.

NET LOADER in Tibbo basicWill it be possible to upgrade application written in basic through the network like with EM203 devices which use net loader for this. Maybe you could add some library function which could be added in application.
