cyberetto asked a question in Brightkite on November 03, 2009 09:12:
Stopping using Brightkite - no longer worksI've been using Brightkite for a long time now, but the iPhone app never works these days (not finding anything close to where I am). I don't like the way the privacy settings have changed - I was very happy with the way they were, providing more options to level of privacy. And so, I am now looking at alternate solutions for logging my location. I'm a bit disappointed because Brightkite used to work well.-

cyberetto reported a problem in Facebook on October 12, 2009 08:32:
People posting to / viewing wall despite security settings disallowing thatI set up a Friends list called Restricted, which has been set up to see or do barely anything, including not being allowed to post to my wall and not see my status updates and not see 99% of my applications, and yet one of those people has added comments to the wall. It's not working as configured. All I really want that person to do is to send messages to my Inbox, but nothing public. By the time you read this I will have deleted that person's comments, but I want to ensure that it doesn't happen again, and they really can't see what I've written.
It's a real security problem, because information is out there which I have purposely restricted, and apparently people can post to my wall despite me saying they are restricted from doing that.
This urgently needs fixing.-

I'm wanting to replace twitpic, too, and I like the idea of posting to multiple places at the one time, but I only want my original sized-photo to go to Flickr (and the photos I post will never be huge because they're coming via Twittelator Pro). At the moment the photo is too small for me to include on Flickr.

I, too, want to delete photos, particularly this one, which is not even mine: http://twitpic.com/1qstz-

Yes, this happened to me, too. This is not my photo: http://twitpic.com/1qstz. How can I delete it?-

OK, I uninstalled the program, then re-loaded it, with those same 5 channels. Again, after a data update, on the channel listing page there is no content showing for Channel 7, and when I look at the detailed list for Channel 7, there are no more duplicates, but also there is no detail for anything after 7:30pm (a new problem). The same if I forward to tomorrow's data, i.e. nothing after 7:30pm. And then again if I go back to the Channel's listing, Channel 7 is showing tomorrow morning's data.
So... this fixed one out of 4 problems, but showed up a new one, so we're still on 4 bugs.
