Dan Bedford replied on December 18, 2008 17:09 to the question "how can i tell boxee to scan a folder I have on another computer/storage device?" in boxee:
This is the biggest issue for me. This should be as simple and easy as possible.
My setup:
Boxee TV
Mac Mini w/ Sony Bravia XBR
Networked via WiFi
Media Server
Mac Pro w/ AFP file sharing turned on
Networked via Gb Ethernet
The Mac Pro has a media folder with all of my videos/movies shared over AFP. There's no login required to read the files.
I have made this all work through boxee but it was quite an experience indeed. I would love to see this streamlined as much as possible.-

Implement Dock icon status for Subversion actionsSometimes you do a lot of changes and your commit is gonna take awhile. Like say, for a whole bunch of files, maybe a large media file has been changed, or sometimes you're committing an entire site for the first time or you've just done a complete redesign.
I'd love to see a status icon implemented for Subversion actions, similar to the status icons that are on Coda's dock icon when uploading or downloading files from a remote server.-

An Adobe employee responded to this bug at the WebKit Bugzilla, and verified that Adobe are aware of the issue. A fix for this should be arriving in the next release of Adobe AIR. Yay!

Yes, please register and vote for this bug at WebKit's bugzilla if you want this bug to be fixed. I've added my vote and some notes in the hopes that this will be brought back to the attention of the WebKit developers. – Dan Bedford, on October 21, 2008 19:30
