Hey there, sorry for all the drama. Just wanted to let you know that we deleted the venue and revoked the admin privileges of that user.

In the near future, we'll be preventing people from aggressively taking mayorships from venues they're clearly not standing inside of.

Yeah, we have some bugs with some new code we're rolling out. (they're related to timezones hence the "time" issues).

Been workng on this thru wkd and should have this fixed by tomorrow. Thanks for sticking with us!

Sadly, Yelp doesn't offer an API for their "social" features... (aka there's no way for foursquare to grab this from Yelp :(

I was advised by a friend to simply choose Boston and add new locations manually. I certainly don't mind doing this, especially if it helps the Foursquare database, however, when Maine actually does get coverage, won't these locations all be invalid? My understanding is that locations manually added become part of Boston and of course this would not be at all accurate. So, should we Mainers avoid Foursquare for now, or is there a way we can use the service and submit locations?" in foursquare:

No coverage until around Tuesday... then you're free to venues anywhere you want. Sound cool? :)

Hey hey, three things

#1. Waze is 3 years old with some 20+ employees. foursquare is < 1 year and there's 6 of us :)

#2. We have an iPhone app, Android app, mobile_web version and SMS interface. Blackberry app is in the works. We've heard there are developers building WinMo and Pre apps w/ our API.

#3. For connection issue, did you see an error? If so, lemme know what you got. If not, you may want to check w/ them. Thanks!
