Warning for file replacementHi guys,
would it be useful if whenever i upload a file that already exists on my wiki, it gives a warning whether to replace the file. This option can then be enabled or disabled for people who hates nags. This is to minimize chances of change file versions unintentionally.

Counting comments for pages using APII was tasked to count the comments for all pages in a wiki as a gauge for discussion levels. Is there a way to extract this using the API?

Question with API DeleteFolderHi folks, I've a question with the DeleteFolder invocation.
I made this call;
https://{wiki}.pbworks.com/api_v2/op/DeleteFolder/_type/jsontext/admin_key/OBVIOUS-FAKE-KEY/folder/folder_A
But I keep getting this reply and the folder is not deleted. I've chosen to use the admin-key instead of mod_key, but it did not work with the mod_key as well.
/*-secure-
{"_perm_cache_times":{"foldertime":1242303534},"_valid_as_of":1242352200}
*/
Erm, did i missed out anything?

You folks are life savers! It worked like a charm. I did not figured out Steven's point previously, but I did guessed that I have to tell the API that mine is some sort of template but did not know the prefix. thanks again!
If you don't mind, I'll update the manual using the comments so that others can use as well.
Domo replied on May 14, 2009 11:00 to the question "Is there a way I can see more information about the users of my wiki?" in PBwiki:
Hi Tim, I fully understand how useful it is for educators like us. I've set up a couple of wikis for my institution for various purposes. And one day my boss came in and asked me questions like how are the students using it, which groups are more active, which lecturer comments the most. I gave him a blank stare and only showed him the total users and total files created. Anyway, I tried using quantcast for statistics, but i guess during the pbWorks name change recently, all the data was resetted.
Domo asked a question in PBwiki on May 14, 2009 10:54:
Problems creating pages using APIi am trying to prepare around 200 wiki pages for my student in the new semester. It doesn't sound encouraging to do it one at a time so I am exploring the APIs. Are the API usage officially supported by pbWorks? i'v not seen much update and activity on the v2 API wiki.
Anyway, I keep receiving a 'Template not found' when I used the API to create new pages with existing templates. I can create blank pages but not with templates.
This is the API call i used:
https://{wiki}.pbworks.com/api_v2/op/CreatePage/page/Student1/_type/jsontext/write_key/OBVIOUS-FAKE-KEY/template/ePortfolioA
I can create new pages with the templates manually, but not with the API call. Not sure if I could get any help on this.-

Oh I was referring to your last reply in this thread where we noticed that in an enterprise environment, I can 'steal' another person's document from his 'secure' folder simply by uploading a document with the same filename to my folder. By doing so I can see all the previous revisions and his 'private' content. Any way to prevent this?

How safe are my videos with Fliqz?Hi there,
I am currently exploring ways to include video in pbWorks and Fliqz seems to be the best method so far. However, how safe are they?
When I upload a video, it goes to Fliqz and get converted to FLV, and streams back to my plugin in pbWorks. The original and FLV is hosted in Fliqz. Who else have access to it?
My students will be creating videos for their assignments and I don't want it to show up in some Fliqz site similar to Youtube where everyone have access to it.
Any advice?

Navigator folders default settingHi crew,
I have a folder named 'Admin' on my wiki, and it seems like the Navigator panel is now 'default' to this folder. Normally, the navigator panel shows all the folders when you first visit the wiki, but now it is always showing the Admin folder. I will need to hit the back button everytime to navigate to other folders. Did i missed a setting somewhere?
