As a programmer I dont think the gearsets would be hard to implement, it would just require a couple new data fields to be stored like a group id and name for each item in backpack, then a tweak to the backpack to display items in those groups, and finally a button for each group in backpack to "Equip these items" not all that hard...
and on the gift list...I am currently using the bookmarklet below here to save and load a list of people to gift, it does not require you to have all 30 in a list, I use it to simply have all the people who I send to each day (approx 15), then pick the other 15 manually as you said. This cuts the time on gift sending dramatically...

Is the ability to save and load gear configurations on the books? Would love to be able to save and retrieve diff configs, like atk/def/spirit etc...
Also the same thing sort of for gift lists would be nice, except a single list would do there. save and load std list of people you normally gift.

Term: Chameleon Item
Definition: When you look at the "bubble" which pops up on a item when hovering the mouse and it shows you the details of the last item you looked at (or the first) instead of showing you its own appearance and details
Causes:
1) Frequently in the game if I go to someones profile to check out their gear and let the bubble come up on one of their items to see how strong it is, then I go to my own backpack to compare its strength to one of my own items, the second item (the one in my backpack) I try to view the info for shows me the same info from the first item I looked at and not the correct details for the item.
2) Also I have heard people say that they get a item from a boss dying, and its soulbound, and in actuality they are experiencing a chameleon item, because of something they had already viewed elsewhere. When they refresh or close/reload the page and look at their new item again, it is in fact not bound to them. (I cant begin to tell you how many people are throwing away or selling items because they think they are bound when they arent)

awesome, and sorry the second cause was my bad as I just checked and it seems this was already fixed at some point in the past (I had stopped using recent gifters because of it)

ok second attempt at explaining second known cause of being "gift-screwed"
If you go the char tab in GQ, and then choose "See Settings" if you choose "Latest Gifters" for the question "Which group of users to show as default on the gift screen?" then you can potentially be gift screwed and here is the how and why.
With that setting in place the list of people you can gift on the gift screen will display peoples names even if they have already been gifted in the last 24 hours, thus allowing those particular people to be gift-screwed. If you send to a person in the list who already received a gift in the last 24 hours, then they will be "gift-screwed" (Please notice that "Latest Gifters" allows this by not making people invisible on the list as the others do when they already received something in the last 24 hours. The other list filters do not show people who where gifted so recently) -

Dud gifts and what causes them. PLEASE FIX!!!!ok, I hate getting gift screwed. See below for the technical definition of "gift-screwed". Below that defintion please see what I believe are the variosu causes of this.
Definition:
Gift-Screwed - The receiving of a gift which has been made defective by various defects requiring Dave Almight to fix them in GQ which occur when sending gifts. Receiving one of these gifts takes your time to click and wait while providing no item or gold (and yes I know that sometimes not seeing the popup doesnt mean you got gift-screwed)
Causes:
1) If you have been playing GQ and clicking between user profiles and hitting bosses you then automatically see the gift screen come up when you did not expect it (You can tell if your in this scenario if you actually see the gift page and yet also see "/profile/" anywhere in the address bar.) When you are in this scenario you are wasting time selecting all your gifts to send, then submitting only to receive a page not found yellow banner, and the gifts visually do still arrive at the people you selected. (however they will be gift-screwed by these gifts you just tried to send)
2) If you use the latest senders option to filter your user list to send gifts with, it will not remove and only show the names of people in 24 hours time after sending. This then allows you to send gifts the next day to the same people too soon (before 24 hours have past) this all visually works and has no errors, other than that the people receiving your gifts in this scenario are getting gift-screwed
3) I believe there is a third cause of being gift screwed, but am unsure until the first two are fixed if its a entirely seperate reason. -

factors of XP for being XXXX member is backwards...if you attack someone else's boss which is in your Guild AND Party you get 1.5 exp like this "(2 earnt from an item effect, and x1.5 XP for being a Guild member!)"
but if you attack someones boss who is NOT in your Guild, but IS in your Party you get double (2.0) like this "(1 earnt from an item effect, and double XP for being a party member!)"
Isnt this backwards? If you get double for party only, should you get 2.5 instead of 1.5 when your in both guild and party? -

Both problems/examples seem to have been happening since the GearQuest Fast debocle.
Example #1 (I can receive mail/gear from some guildmates but not others)
