iPhone 3G and 3GS displaying notes differently

The iPhone 3G and the 3GS display YouVersion Live differently, specifically the Bible passage element. The 3G lists the title and then a link to the Bible reader. The 3GS actually includes the text and then a link to the Bible reader. Both phones are running 3.1.2. Is this supposed to happen this way? (I have screenshots if you need them)

Now the iPhone version is displaying line breaks and spaces properly. BUT, the web and mobile web have gone back to smashing everything together much like the other formats used to do. We're getting there!

Will it at least accept returns and spaces properly? As of last week, it would create one big jumbled mess. I can live without major formatting as long as spaces and returns work as they are entered.

Honestly, if this is going to be useful, something has to be done. Stripping out the use of HTML tags is not the answer if there isn't another system in place. Preachers use points and bullets and without a way to differentiate things in this manner, half of the appeal of this system is eliminated.

Thanks again for a great product. This certainly has potential to be an amazingly helpful tool for worship services.

More info: I checked this across several different platforms yesterday.

The mobile site looks as expected. It accepts OL and UL tags and displays them properly. In fact, it even looks the best.

The full site displays the lists, but does not add the bullet or the number (for the OL)–but the lists are still set apart as lists.

The iPhone version and the Blackberry version (Pearl) each display all of the html tags. There is no formatting of the notes, just the text surrounded by html tags.

It would be great if html tags would work for formatting, or if there was a basic text editor allowing ordered and unordered lists, bold, italics and more. Those things are pretty important if the notes field is to be used for notes, especially for sermon notes.

One other thing that is interesting: The BB version displays the number of votes on a poll. That is the only platform that I have access to that does that. Is there a way to display that on other platforms? The percentages are great, but total number of votes would be a welcome addition.

Thanks again for a great product. It was helpful to have this in hand yesterday. I'm not trying to criticize, just trying to set some ideas out there that make YouVersion even better and easier to use. I look forward to the improvements that will come with more use! Thanks!

Youversion Live formatting is not consistent between web and iPhone app. I added some HTML formatting that looks perfect in the mobile webpage, but all of the tags are showing in the iPhone app. Can there be some basic text formatting that is consistent across platforms?

That is what John was saying right above you. You got a 404 because you didn't replace "eventid" with your event ID number. Go back and reread his entire post and it should make sense.

I do not have an edit link listed there. Furthermore, when I view all of my events, nothing shows up. The only way I can figure out how to edit my events is to append /edit to the url in the address bar.

Not getting any items

I never get any items. I used the ones I had to be the founder of a different spots. The next day, two showed up randomly in my pack (like they did for nearly everyone locally). I haven't seen any since and I've commissioned nearly 50 spots and checked in 60 times.
