Update: Thanks again for the heads up. We were able to reproduce and fix this regression. The problem has been fixed in 2.x.178. Everything should be back to normal next time you restart firefox.

Hi ian. Sorry about the visibility part. I will forward this to our design team so that they offer a personalization knob.

Keeping the buttons aligned on the right is a harder problem to solve (we tried a couple of times in the past and we were never able to get the design right)

Will try to have an update in the next 10 days. Stay tuned.

On the Mac, are you accessing feedly for firefox or Safari?

If it is Safari, can you please make sure that you are are loading the local feedly file (URL file://... ) Please refer to this page for more information. http://blog.feedly.com/2009/07/31/exp...

If it is Firefox, then the issue could be that for some reason feedly is not able to set a cookie which is used to track the version installed. Do you have special Cookie settings?

Yes. This is one of the known limitations of this first iteration of feedly + chrome. We are working hard on removing that limitation. More in the feedly 3.0 timeframe (January '10). Sorry for the inconvenience.

Good news Michael: with an unread count < 200 and your instructions, I am able to reproduce this problem. Should be able to have a fix for it today. Will keep you posted. Thank you very much for your help.
