Efe replied on October 11, 2009 16:44 to the question "Using Rebtel while abroad" in Rebtel:
Hi,
If the country you're visitng is a Rebtel country, then you can call home by buying a SIM card in the country you're visiting and adding the number to your existing Rebtel account.
Follow this link to see Rebtel countries: http://www.rebtel.com/en/Rates/Rebtel...
However, if you and your friends will only call each other, the most cost effective solution would be that you all get local SIM cards and call each other locally, through the SIM card operator.

David,
Thanks for your feedback!
The feature you suggest is already available and it does not require going to m.rebtel.com (which is useful when there is no 3G signal or WLAN available).
Call the Rebtel Access number which you can find on the top left corner. Choose option #4 to change primary number. Make sure that you are calling from the phone you want it to be the preferred one.
A comment on the question "What numbers can my contacts use to call me collect?" in Rebtel:
It might seem so, but it's not. You need to add them as a contact first so that a "connection" between your number and theirs is established. – Efe, on October 07, 2009 08:20

aharaszti,
Contacts that live in Rebtel countries can call you back: http://www.rebtel.com/en/Rates/Rates/
Click on your contact's name and then on "Your contact can call you back", to see the number that they can use to call you collect.

Lintamaryland,
Signing up at Rebtel is free and does not requiere adding credit. However, I think your question is if you can make payments with debt cards.
Apart from VISA, Mastercard and AMEX credit cards, you can also use Pay Pal and Ukash.
Ukash is available in France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK and Russia.
You can also use Maestro Solo and Maestro Switch from UK and Carté Bleu and Carté Blance from France.

Efe replied on October 02, 2009 07:32 to the question "I need Rebtel numbers in Atlanta" in Rebtel:
Dipti,
We have 20 numbers in Atlanta with area code 404.
Choose Atlanta/Georgia from the drop down menu under Manage Phones -> Settings -> Change area code.
If you have already used all your 20 contacts, you can still call without adding as a contact by calling the Rebtel Operator in Atlanta at 404 549 5200 and choosing option #2 to Double Dial.
