To send WebSMS through Rebtel, click on a contact name in your contact list, then click the SMS button and follow the instructions.

As you type you’ll see the number of SMS messages that will be sent to each recipient, and the total cost for sending them.

Try calling from your home phone to a cellphone and check if your home phone number is displayed or if it shows up as a "Private number".

If it shows up as a private number, please contact your provider (megaphone) and ask them how to enable sending your CallerID.

Could you please make sure that your phone is not hiding your CallerID when you call out?

We need to recognize the number you call from in order to connect the call.

I am handling your case on our support inbox as I write this. Every time I have tried to call our Rebtel numbers in Sweden I have been connected right away. We have no reports from other users about this either.

Could I ask you which is your telephony provider in Sweden?

I suspect the issue might be with your specific account or contact you are calling, since Croatia is working fine at the moment.

Could you please send us a detailed description of wht it is that doesn't work and the numbers involved to customerteam@rebtel.com so we can look into it?

Hi there jay,

I saw your email on our support inbox and tried to troubleshoot your issue.

I made a test call to the number you added for your contact Via in Hong Kong.

The test call was made without using Rebtel through the public switched telephone network. When I call I first hear a message in Chinese and then in English "The number you dialed cannot be connected at present, please try again later".

You can only reach numbers through Rebtel if the numbers can be reached through the PSTN.

Hope this clears things up a bit.
