Right now, after decent web browsing, Songbird is using about as much RAM as Safari, but about 100 times as much as iTunes.
I would say that for a web browser, it uses an appropriate amount of RAM, but for a media player, a little too much. I wonder if it would be possible to close the web browser function of Songbird so free up some RAM, but still allow us to listen to music and use the sidebars.-

Collapsible List ViewI really liked how with Windows Media Player 10, you could view your whole library in a list that expanded from the library link in the left sidebar. It had the same functionality as the filter pane, but being able to hide and show artists and albums made it much easier to find what you wanted, plus you could always collapse it completely and it wouldn't take up space. I would really like to see this come back and see it in Songbird.-
