How to mark a venue as temporarily closed?Hecho en DUMBO (http://foursquare.com/venue/38785) will be closing tonight for ~2 months. When it reopens it will be in a different location. If it's "closed" in foursquare, can it be reopened when it reopens in January? Or should that be a new venue? (They're moving from DUMBO to the Bowery).

When viewing a friend, show their checkins wherever they areViewing "friend" in another city only shows check–ins in *your* city unless you switch to their city.
That is, I'm in NYC. My friend is in London. She's checked into multiple locations in London but they don't appear when I view her page (http://foursquare.com/user/kamml). I can only see her checkins in London if I switch my city to London, which seems silly. I understand not sending me notifications when she's in another city, but if I'm looking at her user page it should show me her current info, regardless of whether we're in the same city or not.

Adding tags to venue results in ugly SQL errorWhen adding tags to venue 108160 (Roscoe Diner, http://foursquare.com/venue/108160 ), I got this error:
ERROR: syntax error at or near "SET" LINE 1: INSERT INTO venue_tags SET tag_id = '529', venueid = '108160... ^

Set errors-to header in notification emailIn the notification emails you send from the path101 gmail account, consider adding an Errors-to: path101-errors@gmail.com header to the RFC822 header.
Also might consider some mild branding to the email, even just basic HTML coloring / no graphics.

Add a registration option to the Quiz Results pageWhen someone who isn't logged in views a quiz results page they get "Compare to Ed" and a call to action to take the quiz. Why not add a registration / login panel right there in the right hand column (where today it reads "Take the quiz and register to compare your quiz results to your friends!") and capture the person right there so that on filling that panel out they immediately go to their own quiz.
Right now you take the quiz and opt for a registration either at the end of the quiz or if you opt to save for later. I wonder how many people you're losing because of this (once they've registered they've bought in, until they do though they haven't).

"Back to your results" should only appear if you’re logged in.I checked out my results as they'd appear to someone who doesn't have an account or isn't logged in if they do. I'd remove the link " Back to your results" which appears at the top of the quiz results, since clicking that just leads to a login screen. Alternately, change the login screen to be a split login / register screen.

Display raw link to results in share results panelIn the share your results panel on a quiz result page also display the raw link.
I see you provide this in "Compare with Others" but suggest adding it to the box where the facebook/email/twitter sharing is touted.
A comment on the problem "Why is full birthdate mandatory?" in Path 101:
I think the last bit of COPPA was ruled unconstitutional. Which law are you referring to? Generally you only need to confirm that an individual is over 13 (or 18 depending on the content) in the US, not their specific birth date. – epc, on March 25, 2009 14:09

Feedback "bug" overlaps portion of content on Advice pageThe "bug" for feedback on the left hand side of the page slightly overlaps content on the Advice page (I think the header "By topic" and the first 3-5 list items).
"Advice" seems subtly wider than the other pages so maybe it's a fault of the CSS for that page?

Share Quiz Results -- Using <style> in a <div> is not generally supportedTwo comments on the share-a-quiz page (for mine it's http://www.path101.com/quizzes/share/...)
- initially I thought the HTML in the textarea was an error. Maybe add a header above it for idiots like me saying something like "Cut and paste this HTML to your personal site"?
- <style> elements are generally not supported outside <head> elements. They may work now, but not in the future. If possible can you apply the styles inline to the HTML using <element style="font-size:x,color:y">?

Provide more feedback on reset password pageTwo things on reset password:
- provide more feedback if I enter an unregistered email address. Currently page just appears to reload
- allow resetting password by entering user name
Minor additional thing: the way it's set up now, if I know someone's registered email address I can force their password to be reset. That is, it appears you reset a person's password without confirmation. May want to switch to a model where you send a "reset password link" to the registered email address, with the link expiring in X hours (at least one, no more than 3 or 4). That way if someone is screwing around and hassling people they can't just force the account to get reset.

Allow non-alphanumeric characters in passwordsAllow more characters beyond A-Za-z0-09 like @, !, etc. Assuming you're hashing it behind the scenes and you never really need to know what the string is other than that the hash matches, maybe open it up to all printable characters 0x21-0x7e? (I think 0x20 and 0x7f are unprintable, spaces, etc.)
