It looks very good as it is now - the way Beatlevic announces it at the top and the way it looks as a beta (I take it the links to new versions are dummies since they aren't correct). I like to get the update info both in my profile and in the tracker alerts. MAYBE THE UPDATE ALERTS SHOULD BE KEPT SEPARATE FROM OTHER ALERTS!?

Well, doubi, 'the company has this under consideration'. And only 'the company' knows whether they can spare the manpower. Personally I'd prefer they'd focus on the software side of life. Hmm, I'm starting to think this idea - however nice it seems - would take too much manpower away from the main purpose of the site. And as Robert hinted, it's turning attention from software to hardware. I'm not so keen on this idea anymore, having pondered it a little more.

Now we're at it - or maybe this is out of place - I think supplying screenshots, icon, description, URL etc. for a new app isn't rewarded properly. It's a bit of work after all. And the result is rather useful for a lot of people.

A hard refresh doesn't make any difference. And BTW the problem persists in FF 3.5.2.

No, I never ever see a drop down menu any more. ;) I used to, though, in the good old days. And I've clicked ALL over the place.
But never mind, I found the solution Kilian mentions. So I'll stop whining.

Can't log out. When I click the 'You' thing - the blank area part of it - I'm just being shown my personal page, as if I clicked the You link. I used to be able to click the blank part and get the menu. Not any more. I'm using Firefox 3.0.11 on winXP pro.

Sounds like a real good idea. But how would you summarize the information? There's a lot of different computers out there. Could be solved of course, one way or the other.

That way the tracking would be quite selective, wouldn't it? Better some opt-out txt file on your computer listing apps you don't want to show up - or something like that. An idea from http://getsatisfaction.com/wakoopa/to....

are you dissatisfied about the idea - thinking it's bad - or are you dissatisfied with the present situation (too few categories). I'm just in doubt. As it is now, you don't support the idea.
