ya thats right, like a play pause button and next/previous track, and volume control is basicly all that you need. Make it as compact as possible too.

You dont need to see the song name and all that, just some basic player controls.

No I have that addon and it's not what I am talking about.

RIckclick on the taskbar at the bottom and you will see an option for Toolbars.

Make one for windows media player and then minimize it to see what I am talking about.

Windows Media Player and iTunes have the option to minimizing to the Toolbar in winXP. I think songbird should have a similar option. I know that there is the miniplayer but I can't dock that on the toolbar.

By toolbar I mean the bar at the very bottom of windowns with the start button and the place where windows minimize.

I think this would be a nice and easy feature to implement. Maybe add a play pause and skip buttons. And one for the volume control and one for rating. Thats all, notthing fancy just a little toolbar for windows.

CD burning is one of the biggest turn offs for me from Songbird. Apart from the good library management tools ( Duplicate tracks, Missing Tracks etc ) I would be using iTunes.

iTunes allows me to burn CDs to listen to on my system and in the car. Also I hate to point this out because MediaFlow is such a good addon but Cover Flow is just more smoother and faster to load and the reflections don't use as much memory.

I really like songBird , and I am definately looking forward to the future when performance from addons and playback performance increases.

CD burning is a big step forward in the right direction. That is the reason I still have foobar on my comp, it can convert and burn .flac which iTunes still does not support.

I think someone should make a new view addon similar to this website.

The albums would go on the bottom with pictures and you select your album and it would have the tracks by its side. Maybe even make some cool interactive background like on that website.

I made a mock in PS so you can visualize it. Ohh and No More Tears in big letters above the stars is the Album Name not the track name.

I like to burn CDs of albums I like or make my own mix CDs so that I can listen to them on my high quality system or in the car. This is one of the reasons I was unsure if I wanted to switch to songbird or not. I know you can make a playlist and export it but that is too much of a hassle when I can make the playlist in iTunes and burn it at the same time.

Is it possible to export my library back to iTunes? I was able to import my library and now I made some changes. Is it possible to export my library so I can have all my updated changes in iTunes?
