As I and others have experienced on occasion when clicking update t to post to Twitter we're redirected to the Twitter account @update.

Well I am completely dissatisfied with Twitter's utter silence on this issue. My writing in any form whether is be 140 characters on Twitter's servers is mine.

Not being allowed access to the contributions I have made to build Twitter's business and profile is totally unacceptable. It's a violation of trust not to mention Twitter's own Terms of Service.

We must be talking about different things. An @ Reply is public . A Direct Message isn't.

If someone sends me a 'Direct Message' using the link in the sidebar in the Stats section it absolutely does not show up in the public timeline.

I only want the @ replies (@myusername)and the Direct Messages to show up on my phone.

I'm still not clear on this.

My understanding is that Direct Messages are private and different from a public @yourusername which appears in the Public Timeline.

I wish to receive the @Replies only and not all the Tweets from those I Follow. WIll the Devices On and SHow me all @ replies accomplish this?

So a couple of posts may not be fed as the feed grabbed one, another two were produced byt the feed would grab only the very current one. I would be better off to set the number of posts higher if want them all to show up. RIght!?

After the initial check, which you post the most recent entry, the following check posts all new entries. But If I have it set to only one update, will the subsequent check (3rd) post the third update or the most recent since it last checked. http:www.twitter.com/greggscott
