I just realize this has nothing to do with FoxMarks, my startup disk was completly full and therefore Firefox couldn't write to the bookmarks file. Man I feel like such a f&*%ng n00b!!!

Setting up a new profile is a good idea. Oddly enough about:crashes says "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded". Firefox 3.0.11 on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.

I have had xmarks installed in Firefox 3 for linux for months with no difficulties. All of a sudden, firefox began to crash. All my bookmarks are gone and any attemt to open "Organize Bookmarks" or sync with xmarks crashes Firefox. No option to view/send a crash report which is very odd. Can't disable xmarks because opening the Add-ons window also crashes firefox. Any ideas on next troubleshooting steps?
