Extra dictionaries currently 404https://en-us.add-ons.postbox-inc.com...
which is linked from the prefs, is a 404. So I'm stuck with US dictionaries.

A comment on the question "Protected accounts showing through Twitter100" in Twitter:
mdy: perhaps you don't understand the problem. By cross-domain requesting that JSON, Twitter100 is essentially forging my account details request, which exposes the current status of any protected user I'm following, thus invalidating the point of explicitly allowing people to follow you if you're protected.
As in: people have authorised me to look at these updates, but they have *not* authorised Twitter100 to do so. – intranation, on October 22, 2008 13:23
intranation replied on October 22, 2008 12:53 to the question "Protected accounts showing through Twitter100" in Twitter:
This is unacceptable. Twitter100 gets the followers by making a request for:
http://twitter.com/statuses/friends/i...
(insert your username here)
Can we please block Twitter100 as a referrer? This is a massive security hole. Who's to say they're not indexing this data? A simple Ajax postback to their own server would enable them to save all this data for themselves, despite it not being theirs to save.
A comment on the discussion "Changes for SMS users: the good news and the bad" in Twitter:
If Twitter tell us to use their own site for this, they should offer an alternative, equivalent, service instead of penalising those of us who don't have iPhones and mobile Safari. They're not doing that, they're just removing whole swathes of useful functionality for the majority of users.
Also, I refuse to use an external service until Twitter provide a secure, token-based authentication toolset that won't require me to enter my password into random websites. See Fireeagle for an example of how to do it properly. – intranation, on August 14, 2008 08:52
