Inconsistency in donation amount on start pageOn the Start Page, the "Total Raised" is some how less than the amount raised by the top team. Also, the amount listed for the "Top Fundraisers" is also inconsistent than the amount listed on individual fundraising page. For example Victor Nee raised $1126.00 according to StartPage, but when you click on his personal page, you'll see he has raised $1146 online.
I'm guessing the difference is due to some donations haven't been processed yet. However, the amount should be consistent to either include the pending donation in all the totals, or to only reflect the processed donation. Not to have some total representing one way, and others representing another way.

You do have a team page on Firstgiving. Based on the link you sent us from your Kintera team page and your Get Satisfaction username, I am guessing this is your team page: http://www.firstgiving.com/process/te... - does this look accurate?
If not, please tell me your nonprofit's name and what event you are participating in and I will help you.
For the furture, to access your team area, visit your fundraising page and click your team's name - it should hyperlink to your team area.
...Or visit your nonprofits Premium Start Page. Under Top Teams, click "view all teams"

I agree with everything izewine said. It would also be nice if I send the link to my donation page someone can click on JOIN MY TEAM and actually be linked to my team without having to find me on a list. Our charity used KINTERA last year and the layout of the team page and all the individual pages was awesome. I'm really disappointed with firstgiving and I wish my charity used Kintera again this year.
There should be a TEAM PAGE and someone as TEAM CAPTAIN. This was my page from last year, everything all in one spot. You guys have alot of improvements to make in my opinion

We've got a lot of great changes on the horizon, and this is one of them. Though we're not sure exactly how it will evolve, we do want to allow for customization of the donation amounts, along with descriptive text such as you suggest.

Customize Donation PageI would like to suggest adding the ability to customize the donation page so that non-profit can define the suggestion donation amount and a label next to each (e.g. $100 Silver Sponsor, $200 Gold Sponsor, $500 Platinum Sponsor).
This feature is currently offered by Active.com and I think it would be a great if FG can offer it as well.

To help encourage fundraising as a team effort, it'll be helpful to support the following:
- ability to set a team fundraising goal in addition to individual goal
- ability to set a team goal for number of recruited members
- include the offline donation in the team detail page (listing both individual amount and team amount).
- include the offline donation amount in the startpage.

It would also be helpful to have the ability in setting team fundraising goal (in additional to individual fundraising goal). It'll motivate the team to work towards a common goal. – izewine, on July 23, 2008 21:58
