After using the interface for a while, the flickering of the ever-loading topic lookup really distracts me. Could there be an option to turn it just into something like an icon with a number of matched topics, that wouldn't flicker or jump, just represent the number of matched threads, with the option to manually open the box with the particular topics (if I wish)?

Honestly ... when I'm describing an issue in the box, I clearly see after a couple of sentences if there are any meaningful matching topics or not. And if there aren't, the box stays just there, annoying me, even though I know it won't come up with anything new. At that point I'd welcome to just close it, leaving me alone...

Weird URLs for recent uploads

I'm not sure when exactly did this start, but from some point on newly uploaded presentations have weird URLs that all end either with "-presentation" or "-[some-numeric-id]", compared to the past when it was /username/preso-title/ ... Has the URL pattern changed?

(By the way, is it possible to change the URL slug of a presentation if it's e.g. generated incorrectly from the preso title?)

Type-ahead topic lookup slows down typing

Reporting a problem is a pain when the AJAXy topic lookup slows down writing. Sometimes it takes even a second or more for the text I write to appear in the text box.

Surely the browser's AJAX/UI rendering speed adds to it, but it shouldn't compromise the experience in such way.

Maybe a slower rate would help?

Upgrade broke ICQ alias names. How to use real names instead?

After upgrading to 1.3 all my ICQ contacts' names reverted from aliases I had assigned to them to just ICQ nicknames, which renders them all unusable for me.

So instead of manually going through hundreds of contacts to figure out who's who I was looking for an option how to use and display the person's real name (from ICQ profile) in contact list, however couldn't find anything else than just either a number, or a nickname (View > Contact Name Format).

Am I missing something, or this seemingly basic option is not present?
