A comment on the question "Thunderbird password problem" in Mozilla Messaging:

I finally found out that the problem was that my last payment to my email provider didn't go through because they were auto-deducting it from a credit card with an old expiration date and the notice was going to an old email we weren't able to access. I got the payment in and have changed where the notices go. Thanks for your help. – Jared Connors, on March 17, 2009 16:36

In my "Add ons" box I have "Extensions" and "Themes." Under "Extensions" I have an option to enable or uninstall "Talkback 2.0.0.9." Under the "Themes" tab it shows "Thunderbird (default) 2.0, the default theme." This is all I show in the "Add ons" tab. Through the other path you gave, in "connections" it is currently set at "Direct connection to the internet." I don't know if that helps or says anything to you or not. Hang in there with me and let me know what I need to do next.

    Thanks,

    Email attachment woes
I can no longer send any attachments with my emails! One day, I started having problems with the time it took to send larger attachments - I had never had any problems before. It steadily got worse over a few months and then stopped altogether. I can't even forward emails on now that have attachments. I can reply to emails with attachments if I don't add anything to them. I finally had to set up a gmail account just to be able to send attachments. This is really holding up my business flow and now combined with this lastest password problem I'm having I'm about ready to throw Mozilla in the garbage. I mean no offense but I am not at all techy and so it really throws a lot of things off when I have problems with my computer needs. I did notice that it wasn't too long after a new version of Thunderbird was downloaded that I started having the problems. I think it was a 2.0 but I may be way off.

    Thanks for any help.

    Password problem - "Login failed"
I asked a question yesterday about a password problem. Suddenly I can't get my email because it's not recognizing my password. I've never been asked to enter my password before. I finally found my password, I only have one listed, but when I enter it, the message I get is, "Sending of password did not succed. mail server mail.jaredconnorsdesign.com responded: Login failed." Does anyone know what this means and how I can get past this? Thanks, Jared Connors

    Thunderbird password problem
This morning I opened my Mozilla Thunderbird as usual but I was asked for my password for the first time ever. I don't remember getting a thunderbird update recently that would have changed things. I don't remember my password and can't find a way to retrieve it. I've looked over several previous questions from others about password problems but can't find the answer. Please help, I need to work. Thanks.
