When I add favorites and click on the add to delicious option, after the box disappears a pop up appears and says there was a problem - even if Im signed in.
I have a problem with my favorites before and Ive started a completely new profile now so I dont understand why it never worked before and it doesnt now? Its quite annoying

I have the same problem, I use flock and firefox and I think I have an external player for it - vlc media player? anyway the video is always jerky aswell and the sound sometimes is slower or faster than the images

Ok still not working unless I did something wrong - I tried it a few different ways as I was confused.

First when I clicked on the profile link it said to make a backup so I copied the flock folder to another location. I then renamed the copied profile instead as flock_backup.default.
I tried to open flock but a message appeared saying the browser was already running and Id have to close the process or restart the pc. I checked the task manager processes but no sign of flock.exe
So I renamed the copied profile back to the original and renamed the original profile instead but I got the same message.

So I restarted the pc thinking that was the problem but no difference.

Then I realised you may not have wanted me to do a backup - just rename the profile so I deleted the extra 'flock' folder and renamed the original profile.
The message still appeared :(

Then I thought maybe when I renamed it Id have to rename it to flock_backup without the '.default' bit at the end but STILL I got the message!

So um were any of those methods correct?
Because frankly I dont see any improvement.
Was I supposed to rename the actual flock folder? or the flock\browser\profile\pzqcj2pk.default?
I dont want to do that unless you say so incase it damages the system etc
Ive reset the profile name back and flock opens fine. But favoriting function is very dead – Jammz, on October 07, 2009 19:36

by the way I tried adding a new favorite though opening the Favorite library and right clicking on a bookmark and clicking 'add a new favorite' and it worked. but that is NOT an ideal way of easy favoriting :( so yeah still would like advice on the normal way please x – Jammz, on October 06, 2009 15:49

Problem with regular sign-ins on hotmail. It never remembers my password.

Everytime I log into my hotmail account I have to re-enter my password even though I check the box to save it.

Im the only one who uses the computer so I dont see the problem. Also occasionally if I let someone else use the pc it saves their email instead and then I have to start the process of entering my email and saving all over again. Theres no option there to save multiple accounts and choose which one to use.

I know its a little thing but it bugs me since every other email or online account I sign into usually remembers my passwords. Also my flock or firefox browsers usually ask if I want to save the password for numerous accounts but not for hotmail. Or if they did a long time ago they're not doing their jobs!

If they dont remember it for 'security reasons' the WHY on earth do they give the option of saving in the first place???

Could anyone give some advice?

Actually as I was reading your reply on my getsatisfaction dashboard I looked at the star and it was orange - so I clicked on it and it showed me where it was - obviously it works for stuff I already favorited. But not for things I try to fave now

So anyway I followed your instrucitions:
I renamed it and restarted it but no luck :( plus theres now another flock-data.sqlite - is that sposed to happen?

sorry that doesnt help either because I try faving by clicking on the star now. But the star doesnt turn orange. And I tried faving a page from the menu, closing the tab then re-opening it to see if the star was orange but no luck :(

When I first got flock I imported my bookmarks from firefox.

Then when I favorited a page a tab would pop down and tell me whether I wanted to edit it or add it on delicious. I clicked for the tab not to show me it again. (Plus it never worked when I tried to add it on delicious. I had to import them manually)

My first problem is that when I faved something it went to the unsorted favorites instead of favorites menu.

But now I disabled the popup the favorites dont show up at all. When I favorite something I dont know what happens to it after that. I cant find it anywhere in my favorites library or menu :(

I think I dragged the favorites menu into unsorted favorited by mistake once when was sorting out my library. But I dont see how that would have hidden my current favorites and Ive fixed that now anyhow.

Could someone please help! I would really appreciate it. :)
