I think Jeremy's idea is spot on. I came on here to ask the same thing.
The e-mail notification options need to made much more obvious, having it on by default would be good.
As an absolute minimum though it needs to be possible for us designers to be able to see if a client has got the e-mail notifications turned on or off. Without knowing, it means we need to get in touch with the client every time we add a new comment/design because we do not know if they have been automatically notified or not.
Many Thanks
James

More Chris Moyles Show podcastsCould we please have more Chris Moyles Show Podcasts? 45 minutes per week is just not enough :( Even a twice weekly would be good, daily would be amazing! :)

Yes, Weightbot now fully supports stones. They've obviously just not marked off this suggestion. Here's a screenshot from the actual application showing stones and lbs: www.pswd.biz/weightbot.jpg – jcwacky, on April 08, 2009 10:22

jcwacky replied on March 26, 2009 15:38 to the problem "Here's the problem: Espresso has most of the features discussed here." in Panic Inc:
That's interesting, I was just about to fire off an e-mail to Panic saying that while Espresso has potential, Coda is still miles ahead of it, and has nothing to worry about at the moment.
The only 2 features that Espresso has that I'm jealous about are:
- Multiple upload locations - The ability to set a Production server and a Development server and then choose which one to upload to is great!
- FTP Synchronisation - Being able to perform full synchronisation with the server is very handy. Coda's tracking of changes is nice, but not as good a full synchronisation.
And those are the only two things that I would like to see in Coda. I have played about with Espresso a lot, but it shall certainly not be replacing Coda as my main development tool at this point. I too could provide a very long list of features Coda has over Espresso!
@Panic if you are able to consider the above two features, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Automatically clear previous conversionI like how Convertbot keeps the previous conversion for each category, but I don't like having to manually clear it by pressing and holding the red "delete" button before I can enter a new number to convert. Especially if it is the first conversion in a specific session.
I feel it would be much quicker and make more sense if the previous number is automatically cleared as soon as you start to type a new number after going into "keypad" mode.
Most of the time when you go to keypad view you wish to enter a new number anyway and not add to the existing number as it currently does.
As an app designed to be used to get answers quickly I feel this would avoid an unnecessary step, without making it any less easy to use. I'm forever starting to enter a number and then realising I need to clear the screen first.
Thank you
P.S. - Great app! I've been looking for the perfect unit converter for the iPhone, tried at least 5 other apps and with Convertbot I've finally found it! Loved Weightbot and have been eagerly waiting to find out what your new app was!

Submit SVN commit messages using cmd+enterPlease could you make it possible to submit a commit message by pressing cmd+enter rather than being forced to use the mouse. This needs to be implemented both in the SCM Status Window and also when performing a commit from within the main Coda window.
Many Thanks

Add ability to detect new local files and mark for publishing automatically.I would love to see the ability for Coda to detect when a new file has been added to the local site folder and mark it for publishing.
For example, if I wish to add an image to a web page. I have the original image open in Photoshop where I shrink it to a web friendly resolution and then use the Save for Web... option to save the shrunk image in the site's images folder.
At the moment I now need to manually find that file in the navigation pane of Coda, and mark it for publishing myself. When adding lots of images it gets tricky to remember which ones are new. So if Coda could automatically recognise that I have added a new image file to the site directory and automatically mark it for publishing, that would make many people's lives a lot easier!
Thank you!

I don't like the colon, it makes it more confusing. I prefer Nick's idea (http://tinyurl.com/tapbot-stone). Though I agree having "St" twice isn't right, perhaps just remove the "St" from the bottom right?
As for the decimal point, I would prefer it to look like this "10st 12lb". I don't think the fraction/decimal of the pounds is required. You could replace it with "Lb" for pounds and it would make the display much clearer. – jcwacky, on December 09, 2008 13:42

Display weight in Stone and Pounds.Amazing app, lovely interface. The 1 thing that is missing from it for me is the ability to display the weight in Stones and Pounds as this is very common in the UK.
For example, I am 12 stone and 4 pounds. There are 14 pounds in a stone, so in order for me to enter my weight into Weightbot I first have to multiply the number of stones I am (12) by 14 and then add the extra 4 pounds. (So 12 stone 4 pounds is 172 pounds). Which is not very convienient.
Other than that, great app!
