Jeff asked a question in Stand Alone on August 03, 2009 14:50:
Will Auto Slate be ported to the Palm Pre?I have been using Auto Slate on my Palm Treo 755p (and previous Treos) for several years.
I have transitioned to the Palm Pre and would like to know if Stand Alone intends to
update Auto Slate to work on the Pre.
Thanks,
Jeff-

Corrupt Records in AutoSlate (Palm OS-Treo 755p)After installing a firmware upgrade from Sprint, I noticed that AutoSlate has two records with garbled data.
I cannot select the records in order to delete them.
Recommendations?
Thanks,
Jeff

Just tried the setting change....unfortunately, there was no change in the behavior. :( – Jeff, on April 25, 2009 20:06

Martin, thanks for the reply and the visual. I'm hoping we can continue using the existing remote; especially since we have two of them. Is the power presenter remote an RF remote? – Jeff, on April 25, 2009 19:08

Thanks, James. I will give that a try. The challenge will be the fact that the computer is in the balcony and the pastor is down front. So, taking the remote away from him to fix things is going to be a non-starter. – Jeff, on April 25, 2009 19:00-

Jeff replied on April 22, 2009 23:51 to the question "Remote control of powerpoint file in slideshow" in MediaComplete:
I'm now running v107.3.
I've discovered some slide show settings within.
Tools->Settings->Controls->Script Pane Properties->Slide Show Mode->Remote Control (choices: Page Dn & Page Up | DnArrow & UpArrow | "N" & "B" | RightArrow & LeftArrow). The default is Page Dn & Page Up.
Changing the above settings (I tried all of them) seems to have no effect when attempting to use the remote.
When selecting "next" in the remote, the slide selected within the cue moves nine slides forward within the script's cue, but has no effect on the slide being displayed. The displayed slide does not change even though the slide within the cue does move.
Other suggestions?
Thanks!

Remote control of powerpoint file in slideshowMy pastor uses powerpoint in support of his messages. He has an InFocus PresenterRF remote that works great with PPT in show mode.
When we import his PPT file into MediaShout v4, it generates the thumbnails correctly. However, when he tried to advance the slide, the projected slide does not move/change. The slides within the script DO advance.
Is there a setting I need to change?
I'm running build 105.2 today.
Thanks!
Jeff
