Default channel in web clientA channel should be selected by default in the web-client. Right now, I log in and immediately type something like Hello, but then it gives the error about no channel selected. Very VERY annoying, it catches me every time.
Perhaps default to the channel on 1. ?

Channel selector color issueWhen a white background is selected, one will choose dark colors of text for the chat. However, the channel selection button at the buttom of the web client, will show the channel names in the same chosen color. Problem is, that part of the screen remains black. So you get black text on a black background.

Ok, I just noticed a few things:
1. Gtalk client does indeed not turn username or comment id into a link. Digsby does. Is this underlying HTML that gtalk doesnt seem to be picking up?
2. The moment I post myself, it immediately appears in the stream, even if it had stopped feeding other peoples items.
3. Posting something yourself seems to kick-start the streaming of other people's items again, at least for a while.
So it seems to stop randomly updating the stream, unless you post something yourself, then it continues again for a while. Perhaps some kind of timeout occurring somewhere related to a users session? It would have to be on the front end, something relating to my clients session with your server. That is my guess.

Its been very inconsistent across the day. Pulling in items only occasionally, in spurts of 5 items or so. Once an hour tops.
At least it now pulls in all kinds of items, not just my own posts, which was the problem that this thread described originally.
I also noticed that, at least in Google Talk client, it wasn't creating links out of anything in the post, as it did last night in my Digsby. I will test this further this evening by comparing the two clients.

No it doesn't appear to be doing that. http://www.friendfeed.com/realtime shows everything I would expect, about 30 items or so. However my Jabber client (Digsby, in this case), aswell as the Gtalk popup window in gmail, is only showing 5 items, 2 of which are duplicated.

Can I subscribe to my other lists, not just "home" ?I would like to be able to pull the feed from a specific list, or selection of lists that I created at Friendfeed. For example, I have a list that only contains close friends, and would only like to pull down the realtime feed for only that list, into my jabber client.
