Hello David,
Issue number one from your list (X-List breaks on some runs that are less than one minute in length) has been resolved in Cablecast 4.8.3, which we released today (5/11/09).
For runs that end at 11:59 PM, we suggest you change the end time to midnight. The information we received from TV Guide confirmed that they can process that scenario correctly.
In the case of a day of empty schedule ("Bulletin Board from 12am to 12am"), it will probably give an error... but in that case, it will have to be fixed by hand or not sent because TV Guide is unable to process a empty schedule.

What version of Carousel are you running (click the 'About' link from the Main menu)?
Carousel Configuration: There is no "Players' option because you don't have any Players, just the Solo 300 server. Click on Channels:"The name of your Channel" and another menu will appear allowing you to select Channel Layout. Within the Channel Layout you will be able to see which zones make up your channel.
When you click on the zones tab, how many zone are there to choose from? Is the bulletin that is displaying on your screen making up the entire screen or just a part of it? It is also possible that the bulletin could be a Full Screen Alert (making up the whole screen) which is accessed via the 'Full Alert' tab from the Carousel Main Menu.
Jennifer McCleary replied on April 30, 2009 16:25 to the question "nothing working" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Hello Eli,
How many channels of Carousel do you have? Is the Solo 300 the only server in your configuration? If you have multiple channels try this:
From the desktop of the Carousel server, click on the 'Carousel Display Engine' icon and, select the 'Configure button on the Carousel splash screen. In the 'Carousel Server Settings' section of the configuration, verify that the Channel selected is the channel that you are creating bulletins on. I have a feeling that you are making bulletins on a channel that the Display Engine is not pointed to.
If you have just a single channel running from your Solo 300, check the Channel Layout in the in the Configuration menu located within Carousel's user interface. You can do that by clicking on the 'Configure' button found in the upper right hand corner when viewing the Main Menu in Carousel. Then select, Channels:"Your Channel":Channel Layout. Notice which zones make up your channel and write them down. Now, close out of the configure menu and click on the 'Zones' tab from the Main Menu of Carousel. Select one of the zones that make up your channel. Then select Manage Bulletins:Active Bulletins; the bulletin displaying on your screen will be in one of the zones Active Bulletins list.
Please let me know if this helps! You can also find our Carousel Manual on our website.
