Jennifer McCleary replied on April 27, 2009 21:02 to the problem "Carousel Players stuck, or just not updating.." in Tightrope Media Systems:
Hi Pete,
Are your Carousel Players still freezing up or not updating? What is the URL of the RSS feed that you are running? Are you running video, flash, or live video feed bulletins? Is it possible that some zones are getting stuck on one bulletin because the other bulletins have expired (the Display Engine will continue to show the last bulletin scheduled, so the zone it not black)?
Jennifer McCleary replied on April 26, 2009 21:33 to the question "newbie needs helpwith first bulletins" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Hello Trish,
To change the channel on your output, double click on the Carousel Display Engine icon located on the desktop of your Carousel system. When the 'Loading Carousel...' splash screen displays, click on the configure button. From the configuration screen, locate the 'Channel' field and click on the drop-down menu option to select the channel that you created, save and relaunch the Display Engine.
Please reference Chapter 6, Configuring Players, in the Carousel manual for more information.

Hello Vicky,
When your Carousel system was reimaged all of the previous configuration (Channels/Zones) and settings were cleared to a factory state. Please visit Chapter 5, "Setup Basics: Step-By-Step", in the Carousel Manual to configure your Carousel system.

Jennifer McCleary replied on April 22, 2009 14:34 to the question "Who took my bulletins?" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Hello Phyllis,
It sounds like the the bulletins have expired. When bulletins expire they go into the Stale bulletin list. The Display Engine will continue to display the last bulletin that was scheduled so the zone is not black. To verify if that this is the case, the user that created the bulletins needs to check their Stale bulletin list. From the 'Main Menu' in Carousel go to 'Manage' bulletins, click on the 'My Bulletins' tab and select 'Stale Bulletins'.

Jennifer McCleary replied on April 07, 2009 19:45 to the question "Displaying Upcoming Events from iCal" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Hello Paul,
It is possible to display iCal events that are scheduled out as far as 99 days into the future. The schedule display settings are found in the Event Schedule:Bulletin properties, as laid out in the screen shot below.

I agree that the mapping of iCal fields to Carousel fields should be added to our Carousel Manual as a single source of information. We will add this information to the Carousel Manual, but if in the meantime you have any specific questions, please post your questions here and we will do our best to get them answered.
