This is most certainly a core feature of a media player.

The lack of this as part of a default songbird install is one of the applications greatest weaknesses. When non technical people don't immediately realize where to find it, they are unlikely to look for an extension. They are more likely to simply assume it doesn't exist and use another media player.

This should not be marked as "implemented".

This should definitely be given more priority. It says there was a response 5 months ago, but this is a very minor thing, and many far more complicated things have been implemented since then. I would recommend fixing this (and other similar polish/usability things) before adding new complex features.

I would like to point out that I do realize the program is free, and am grateful it exists at all. I simply think that if its trying to be a popular mainstream app, polish and usability are really key.
