Send the site URL and RSS feed URL to feedback@daylife.com. If the site has all original, text-based content, basic editorial standards, and relevance to the Daylife audience (current events or solid coverage of a niche) then it will be eligible for inclusion in our source index.

John Henry replied on June 30, 2009 21:01 to the question "Article original to Michael Steinberg and Click Broker" in Daylife:
Thanks, Michael. We've done some diagnosing on our end. There is an optional flag in our database that we can flip to treat certain feeds differently, and it usually helps in a case like this.
If you're publishing a full-text feed, this option may only read a portion of it. But the portion read will be a summary excerpt that should contain the salient bits of each post. (If all goes well, we'll be able to read the full text, assuming such is being published.)
Let me know whether this works. If not, we can dig deeper and find another solution.

John Henry replied on June 24, 2009 21:56 to the problem "Why certain photos and not others?" in Daylife:
Thanks for writing - alas, we get what they send us. ("They" being Getty Image, Reuters, and the AP.) We pull in many thousands of beautiful photos each week, and they include a huge range of subjects and come from all over the world. If we don't have much of something on one day, chances are we will soon.
