While I am one of the many Android users eagerly anticipating a client app for my phone, it's clear that as a "business" decision, the iPhone app had to be released first. I think the disappointment here is that with any small amount of foresight, the Gowalla Chiefs should have seen that Android was going to be growing in a hurry. In creating an app with such wide appeal, you really should have your hand on the pulse of the mobile smart phone market at-large if you truly want to leverage your investment. Android is clearly #2 on the charts with a bullet... get 'er done!

that's a work-around, but I don't like using Twitter as my Facebook status since I use ping.fm to update multiple sites at once, and therefore end up with redundant entries.

Bring it, team! I thought this was already a feature, and thus thought it was broken :/

Been using BK for a while, and the FB updates are something that make that experience a bit more enjoyable for me.

Hi Adam, thanks for your reply. I'm using the "Ping This" Bookmarklet, and adding the "#group" to the beginning of the description field.

For me, it just started happening with the "ping this" bookmark. (using Firfox on Mac OS X).

Using the "*" to keep the URL in tact, when submitted, there is a "404" returned.

This thread is really helpful. I am trying to migrate away from JungleDisk, so it sounds like I need to move data off of my JungleDisk buckets, and then use ExpanDrive. When using an S3 browser I couldn't believe the amount of information generated by JD! I couldn't dig through and find my files, it was too much! Thanks.
