Setting up my DVD player to work

I'm looking at getting a few DVD players soon, some 5-6 disc changers, or even a 300 or 400 disc changer. Now do I need to hook these up through the Serial Hub, or can I have a Leightronix system that is hooked up to the serial hub that will control these through RCA/BNC?

I hope I'm making sense lol

Hello Everyone, I have the SX2 setup and when I go to the FrontDoor and into the server setup and then in licensing, It shows, could not read license data. The provided license key does not appear to be valid.
When I go on the Cablecast Pro VOD and into the same licensing screen, it shows everything that I have. Now should I be running the FrontDoor with the Cablecast, and Carousel on the ProVOD or the SX2??

Actually right after this comment I checked my email and had one in there from Joe Thompson with a link to your documentation site. At first I wasn't so happy because I had only received the small books that are shipped with the systems, but now I have plenty of reading material that goes in depth!! Thank you Ray, I have been reading the manual, but it really goes only as far as setting up the channels and such, I wasn't to happy with the documentation they gave us but it does help. We have Cablecast going, carousel is hooked up and running but I just wanted to make sure. Also, We are having a hard time just previewing it on a monitor, which out puts are you using from your system?

Setting up Devices and having trouble

Hello everyone, I'm looking to get some devices hooked up to Cablecast. How am I supposed to connect everything together? Does the USB Serial Hub get connected to the SX2 or PRO VOD via USB? and do I then connect all devices to the Serial Hub to control them using a female to female serial cable or USB-Serial?

I do get into the Carousel main menu. I have setup some Zones and Channels but I'm not sure it is setup correctly. I created a bunch of content and it still won't let me connect correctly. I now get the screen that shows "there are no zones defined on this channel." I believe that I have setup zones correctly but what do I mainly have to make sure is setup to get all the way in?

Hi Chad, thanks for the response. When I start up Carousel I click on configure and it pops up the configuration screen. I set the server IP address and click the check box to make sure it connects ok and it does, all is green. Then when I hit ok it goes to the connecting to server but then just shows the not licensed screen and doesn't go any further then that.
Ill attach the images to show you.

Trying to connet Carousel to the main server and it says NOT LICENSED and doesn't continue, what do I have to do for this?
