I had a similiar issue as well a while ago. Changing the field style from Edit Field to Text Area fixed the problem.

Standby Graphic for Screensavers

It would be cool to have the ability to use a standby graphic when there is no connection to the server and the screensaver loads. Right now if the screen saver loads and can't find the server, it shows the "Navigation to the webpage was cancelled" webpage. This would be especially helpful for laptop users.

Would it be possible to shrink down the icons displayed when managing media. Videos for example use such a big icon for a single clip. If that isn't possible, can the buttons at the bottom of the screen used for uploading, deleting, copying media be moved to the top of the screen.

Is there any reason why carousel displays quotation marks as a single quote when creating a bulletin?

I am trying to use quotation marks in some of my announcements. If I enter "Test" in the Text Box and hit refresh it gets changed to 'Test'. Not a big deal but very odd.

Screensaver bulletins not updating consistently

Some of the bulletins in of my zones is updating on all computers. I changed some information (i.e. employee birthdays) and the info is updated on my main channel. On some of the computers the same zone is not updating. What is odd is that it is updated fine on my computer's screen saver as well as the web preview but on my boss's computer the same zone is not updated and displaying old information.

Video Window Zone Playing During Full Screen Bulletin.

We have zone with a video window that continously loops game clips. Once an hour I have a full screen alert bulletin compormised of a flash file play to prevent burn in. There have been random times when the alert bulletin plays but you can also see the video bulletin play at the same time. If I can manage to get a screen shot I will send it.

Is it possible to setup a admin user role where those with that role have full admin control of only specific channels and zones?

Is it possible to setup a admin user role where those with that role have full admin control of only specific channels and zones? Currently, the only "channel setup" rules are Clobal System Config and Zone Setup. If I give a assign a user access to those rules, they can access the setup for all channel and zones. It would be a big help, if I could assign those rules to a user so they only access the setup and config for those channels in which they own. If you need more information, let me know.

Is there a way to determine what video was playing

Is there a way to determine what Video was playing when a zone locks up? Every so often a video will lock up and the zone will freeze. Unless I am watching the zone or can the determine the video from frozen image, I can't tell what the problem video is. It would be great if there was a "now playing" feature for each zone.

It would be helpful to see the dimensions of a zone when creating a template or editing one. It would make block placement size much easier to figure out (until the drag and drop layout editor comes to life)

Sorry I should have been clearer with this topic. What I meant was to be able to directly upload to a video block in a bulletin when using a template. If I choose the option you suggested I will not have the bulletin background and it throws off the look of our channel. If you need more information, let me know.

Direct Upload of Video File during Bulletin Creation

It would be nice to be able to directly upload a video to a bulletin template like you can with an image file. Currently you have to upload the video file to the media section of the zone before it can be included in a bulletin. If I am missing something please let me know.

Crawl zones should disapear when playing alert bulletins

We have our players setup to play a video alert bulletin once an hour to prevent burn in on our displays. The only problem is that the crawl zone doesn't disapear when this video plays. Is it possible to make the crawl zones disappear when alert bulletins are playing?

Preview Uploaded Videos before Approval

There should be a way for the carousel adminstrator to be able to preview uploaded videos before approving them. This would allow the administrators to filter out any inappropriate videos before they are viewed by the Carousel audience.

Allow Carousel To Pass Login Credentials In Order To Access Secure Intranet Sites

Currently, my server can not access our internal intranet's web pages and rss feed since Carousel will not pass my login credentials when trying to create a web page snapshot or a rss feed/bulletin. The interactive bulletins from the intranet display just fine but often I only need a specifc image or portion of the page rather than the whole thing. It would save a lot of time if we could pull this information directly from the source rather than have to manually create a bulletin.
