Sometimes users experience a MPEG Cannot Be Loaded error in MediaShout when using mp4 video files. You can try tweaking the Quicktime codecs on the machine to enable MediaShout to play the file. Here is what we usually recommend:
After installing the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack above, download and install the Quicktime Alternative 1.81 codec. All you have to do is install it using default settings.
If you still have problems with QuickTime files after this, you can try uninstalling both codec packs and retry the above instructions. If that doesn't work, then you can use the Codec Tweak Tool that comes with the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack using the following instructions:
1. Go to Start>All Programs>Klite Codec Pack>Tools>Codec Tweak Tool.
2. Find the options for MP4, MOV, and HDMOV and set it to use Gabest as the codec.

Try this and tell me how it works.
MediaShout can play Quicktime files as long as the computer has the right Quicktime codec configuration. In order to configure the codecs to work with MediaShout, we typically recommend installing the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and the Quicktime Alternative 1.81 respectively.
Here are instructions for downloading and installing both:
K-Lite Mega Codec Pack
1. Download the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.
2. During install, Choose Profile #7: Lots of Stuff.
3. Be sure that MPEG-2/DVD is checked and select ffdshow (libmpeg2).
4. Continue the installation using the default settings.
Quicktime Alternative 1.81
1. Download the Quicktime Alternative 1.81.
2. Install using the default settings.
If you follow these instructions and are still having problems using Quicktime files, then it may be because of the way the file was encoded. Or, there might be other codecs in the system that are inhibiting MediaShout. Sometimes other programs install proprietary codecs that can interfere. You can test this by uninstalling the other programs or codecs. If you try and it doesn't work, you might consider converting the files to another format that does work with your system.-

If we can get a bit more information, it would greatly assist answering this correctly for you. If you don't mind, what version and build of mediashout are you using? What type of video file are you inserting? Did it just start doing this or has this been all along? And also what steps you are using to insert the file.
No worries, we will get you answered :)
