I've been a Crosswords user for over a year. Following the 1.70 update, the application has been freezing fairly regularly. The problem arises generally as it shifts between screens (i.e., not when filling in a puzzle) and while the app is accessing the internet for additional puzzles or puzzle data. The only remedy is to allow the iPhone to shut down the application on its own (as a non-responding app) and then restart the app. If I manually shut the application, the application will launch to the Crosswords launch screen, but freeze there until the iPhone closes the app of its own accord.

Is there a specific remedy other than deleting and re-downloading the app? Has this problem occurred in other users' apps?

Btw, I currently am using a brand new iPhone 3GS and the issues arises whether in Edge, 3G or WiFi.
