I agree one hundred percent. I have commented frequently that it reminds me of a magnetized Harley Davidson motorcycle weaving slowly back and forth through the aisles of an old Wester Auto store with ever known cheap accessory sticking to every exposed metal surface. Every picture, every link, every Java Script, every sound, every little fancy bar or flower or whatever extra adds seconds to download. Clean it up! K.I.S.S.

Stories with comments show "0" comments.
Your comments are still lame and defective. When I read a story in the "old" format, I could click below the story on "see all comments" and they would all pop up. Now with theis new comment format, when i look below a story, the comments are shown as "0" as if there are none and it is only after I have left a comment that I see other comments have been left. That is so lame. Please fix the comments so the quantity of comments is displayed and clicking on "see all comments" brings up all comments along with the window to add mine ?????

Comments not displaying completely or not at all.
I've gone to several articles that I know had multiple comments made and published at the bottom of them, yet the comments were shown as "0". Upon leaving a comment, then, suddenly there are the "lost" comments. The comment totals are seldom correct, and many stories lack the "See all comments" linkage. Can't the Sentinel get it together after all this time ? Also, if a comment is rejected, wouldn't it be polite to email the submitter notifying them rather than just "wiiping it off" ? Comments by the way aren't just meant to be what one side of an argument wants to see only. It is supposed to be both sides of an argument. Evidently anything the Sentinel doesn't agree with frequently is just tossed out.

I think they are trying to work out the kinks. I'll give them the the benefit of that doubt. I would like to see a linkage to be able to go in and change some account details such as my screen name ? I think "Your Account Details" should be a hot link on every page where comments are allowed. I'd also like to see "replies" put back on individual comments. Right now we can add a new comment, but many times one would rather address a specific comment ?

I've tried without response to tell the OS web designers that the more "gimmicks" you put on the page, the slower it loads. Every Java Script, every image, every sound, every link, slows things down. This is without a doubt the primary mistake most beginnere web page creators make. Every bar, every banner, every background surface, every little cute flower, etc. makes a fancy looking web page but when it loads so slowly people give up and click to go somewhere else that pops right up for them they won't be back.

We used to have a sight gag joke about a "magnetized Harley Davidson motorcycle weaving slowly back and forth between aisles in a Western Auto Store to resemble what some web pages look like when the designers just toss in any and everything so that the page is blinking and flashing and things are popping up all over, voices chiming in, music playing etc.

For God' sake, take a hint from Drudge.

How to change displayed name ?
Can someone tell me how to change my display name? I never picked the one they show. Please include a link on your page to edit our account details at anytime.

    The amazing invisible comments
Comments pop up, comments disappear. Comments pop up, comments disappear.
Sometimes you sees dem, sometimes youse don't.
You see 2 -3 one minute, zero the next.
    Pathetic.
