    Ok I'm still wrestling with this.
    The Timeline shows my event a full day after the event is actually scheduled for. Viewing the event details shows the date/time is correct, however the details at the top when editing the event are actually GMT - 10 hours instead of 5.

    Another thought on this. It would be nice if the site actually read the culture settings from the browser. I'm not sure you can pull a timezone directly out of the get request block or not but you could at the very least pull out the en-us and assume -5 hrs at a minimum?

    Private events
    Users should be able to mark events as private so that the event doesn't show up on the 'everyone' calendar. A direct link to a unique url (GUID?) should allow anyone to see the event without having to sign up. Shoul also allow direct invites to users of thumbslap and non-users alike.

    There's a timezone issue when creating a new event. I'm in Eastern time, I had to actually create my event in GMT to be able to get it to appear correctly on my end.
