Please note that the tech doc was updated with a new solution 1. We have posted a LicenseRecovery patch update 11/27 http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/... , so even if you tried the patch before, it's worth running it again.-

What is the product language? Did you already install in trial mode?
Please be aware that there's a difference between International English and US English. If you reside outside the US and bought an English product you receive an Int. English serial number. If you already installed in trial mode, you likely accepted the default language of US English. That's the most common reason why the s/n comes up as invalid.

This is a known issue with CS2 applications and RAID drives. Please download a patch from this tech doc which will fix the activation requests:

You also need to call Customer Service to get your CS2 activation count increased, or email me your serial number: kiharris at adobe dot com
