Kymberlie set one of Kymberlie's replies as an official response to "How do I link to or create a page that lists the posts of a single author?" in Six Apart
Kymberlie replied on August 12, 2009 23:21 to the question "How do I link to or create a page that lists the posts of a single author?" in Six Apart:
Hi, Nate!
On a Basic Template Set, the easiest thing to do is to create a category for each author and then have them assign their posts to this and any other category that the post should belong to. That will then add their name to the category listing that you can add at the sidebar via Weblogs > Design > Content.
If you would rather not have the authors and the categories in the same list, you would need to create two link TypeLists, one for categories and one for authors. You would then need to add any new categories or authors to their respective TypeList manually. We have more information on creating a new TypeList here.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. You can also go to Control Panel > Help > New Ticket to open a help ticket and receive assistance that way.
Thanks,
Kymberlie

Kymberlie replied on August 12, 2009 22:57 to the question "Can I add the AddThis Toolbox to my post footer with basic templates?" in Six Apart:
Hi, Albert!
You can add an option for AddThis to your posts by using FeedBurner integration and then adding it as a FeedFlare.
To do this, first go to FeedBurner. If you have not already created a FeedBurner feed for your weblog, do this now. FeedBurner provides a place ("Burn a feed right this instant") where you can enter your weblog URL or feed URL and it will prepare the feed for your weblog. When you have completed this process or if you had already done this, get the URL for your FeedBurner feed.
Return to Weblogs > Configure > Feeds, click the Connect to FeedBurner and enter your FeedBurner feed URL at the prompt, then click OK. This will connect your weblog properly to the FeedBurner feed.
We have information on how to do how to integrate your feed with FeedBurner here.
After connecting your blog to FeedBurner, you can select the FeedFlare you want to add through your FeedBurner account. This includes AddThis, Email This, StumbleUpon, and many other options.
Within TypePad, go to Weblogs > Design > Select Content and select the option to display FeedFlare on your blog.
Further information on Adding FeedFlare to your blog is available here.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you need anything else.

Kymberlie replied on August 09, 2009 19:56 to the question "How do I change the theme to a different one" in Six Apart:
Hi, Debbie!
Depending on what version of TypePad you're using, you should be able to go to either Weblogs > Design > Theme or Design > Choose a Theme to pick a different look for your weblog.
I hope this helps! If you still have questions, please let us know your weblog's URL or open a help ticket and we can assist you further.
Thanks,

Kymberlie set one of Kymberlie's replies as an official response to "Can't reset password" in Six Apart
Kymberlie replied on August 02, 2009 20:39 to the problem "Can't reset password" in Six Apart:
Hi, Chris!
Your account was created with OpenID so this is what's causing the issue. The Netflix page you're linking to isn't enabled for OpenID logins.
You'll need to have Netflix update the page to allow for TypePad Connect OpenID accounts or you may want to create another TypePad Connect account that doesn't use OpenID and sign in with it instead.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
Thanks,
Kymberlie

Kymberlie replied on August 02, 2009 20:25 to the problem "Banner image not showing in Internet Explorer" in Six Apart:
Hi, Andrew!
This happens when the image is saved in a non-web compatible format. Firefox and other web browsers may be able to handle the issue graciously and display the image, but Internet Explorer will be unable to do so.
You'll need to resave the image in a web-compatible format (in Adobe Photoshop, for instance, choose the "Save for Web..." option) and upload the image again. I've done this for you. You can save the image to your computer and upload it to your weblog here:

Hi, Chris!
Is it possible that you used OpenID to register?
Since we need your e-mail address to look your account up, could you post it here or, if you'd rather not post it publicly (so that spammers can't harvest it or whatnot), you can use our Contact Form and someone will work with you directly there to solve this issue.
Thanks,
Kymberlie

Hi, Jose! Are you talking about your TypePad Connect profile?
If so, you can go login to TypePad Connect and click the Edit Profile link. You'll see a little grey X next to the account, like in this image:

You would click this X to remove the account from your profile.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
Thanks,
