Libero Della Piana replied on April 26, 2009 20:25 to the question "Tinyurl seems to have returned. Where's Bit.ly?" in Feedly:
Well, I think I figured out the conflict. Aparently, Bit.ly already allocated me a URL for the page tried to tweet. I have the Bit.ly API attached to Twitterfeed for an RSS source. I hadn't noticed that the article I read in the Feedly interface had already entered my other Twitter stream with the shortened URL.
Once I found the other iteration of the article i was able to fix the problem.
I don't know if the API was provided if Bit.ly would have provided the same URL that had been previously generated.

Tinyurl seems to have returned. Where's Bit.ly?Anyone else getting tinyurl instead of bit.ly in their Feedly tweets? Seemed to be working before. I am logged into Google and bit.ly. Hmmm

I think I found another similar problem related to the above issue. Same category. Doesn't seem to happen with other categories, but not sure. Maybe a problem with feed format?
Anyway, see attached screen shot. oval reads "0" unread articles, but you can see top article is Grayed-out but other articles are still blue (unread).

Also, clicking on article titles link doesn't open the in-line summary or take you to the source page.

Refresh failI have had Feedly open for a while. The category I have pen now shows the need to refresh. There are four articles showing and the little article count oval reads "5". I figure refresh will bring up one new article to make five total summaries showing.
No such luck. I hit refresh repeatedly and four article still show. Still tells me o refresh. (See screen shot)
When I navigate away from category and come back it still shows four summaries but lists five in the oval and on the feed count n the right column...
Chew on that.

Bug Report screenHaven't seen this screen in a while. Seems more likely a glitch than a bug...
Here's the error in Firefox:
Error: devhd is not defined
Source File: chrome://feedly/content/boot/error.htm?msg=%5Berror%5D%20failed%20to%20load%20page%20%27cover%27%20because%20TypeError%20--%20pageHeaderElem%20is%20null%20%5B...%2Fjs%2F10101_feedly_2536.js%40439%5D

Not sure the problem. I refreshed Feedly after moving to a new location with my laptop.
Has since gone away.
Libero Della Piana replied on March 30, 2009 16:55 to the question "Remove Hashtags in Email?" in Feedly:
Thanks for the answer,
Maybe my question can transform into a suggestion. one thing I like about the Tweet function is that I can review and edit the tweet before posting, including changing or removing the hashtag. This is currently impossible for the hashtag embeded din the email subject line.
While hashtags are understood and even helpful for twitterers out there, most folks I forward emails to have no idea what they mean.
I would suggest one or both of the following features: 1) Allow editing of subject line before email send (along with current ability to add notes or comments o email). 2) Allow separate knobs in prefs for email and tweet hashtags or a separate pref for hashtags in email at all.
Just my thoughts. Thanks as usual.

Libero Della Piana asked a question in Feedly on March 29, 2009 21:51:
Remove Hashtags in Email? Is there a way to turn of Hashtags for email feature in Feedly? I want my hashtag for Tweets, but emails get it too, apparently. i.e. the attached screen shot: "p2", my standard hashtag in the Feedly settings is appended to the subject line in the email I sent. Can it be turned off for email and left for Twitter?
Thanks!

Unresponsive article headline linksDon't know if this is related to the problem with "read" articles I had earlier. I took some screenshots of the Firefox error log (can you copy and paste it? I can only get one at a time?) and my screen.
If I point at the link for the first article, the link URL pops up, but If I try to click the link I get neither the inline summary nor a new tab to the original. Hmmm.
Hope the error logs help.

In regards to what we would like for Feedly 2.0:
Still interested in more option for URL shortening services, especially those that have statistics (cli.gs for instance) or the idea of an internal feedly service for stats, clickthroughs, retweets, reposts etc.
Also, an Iidea I had the other day: What about the ability to "publish" my Feedly Cover for friends and or public? In other words, a Feedly profile (that I could promote) where people could see more than just a list of my recommended feeds and articles but see what I see on my feeds?
I know this is a huge thing. Maybe for Feedly 3.0!
Thanks for the attentive service.

"Mark as read" glitchI found a new glitch I haven't seen before. After clicking the oval with the check mark to mark a category "read", only half of the articles "grayed out". (see screen shot attached).
Clicking on the headlines themselves doesn't seem to work either. Can't drill down to articles themselves or mark them read manually.
When I navigate away from category, articles disappear as "read" and it appears works normally.
Hmmm.
