Hi Will
Emmy is offline right now. I will need to get an engineer to take look at this. Unfortunately, right now, our engineers are also off for the night. Hopefully by Monday, we will be able to get back to you with more information. Sorry for the wait and thanks for your patience as we try to work this out. – Sanja, on December 21, 2009 01:53
A comment on the idea "This is how to link to an anchor on A DIFFERENT page..." in Yola:
Hi Dana
Yep.. you can change your link colors. If you added your links through the text widget, then you can click inside the text widget. Then, highlight the text link and select the color you'd like from the color blocks on your text toolbar.
If you added through the HTML widget or if changing via the text toolbar doesn't work, then you can add a little coding to it. Find your text link. It would look something like this:
<a href="yourlinkurl.com">your text goes here</a>
You will need to add a font tag to your code. So, it will look something like this:
<a href="yourlinkurl.com"><font color="#5dc4d3">your text goes here</font></a>
You can change the font color to whatever Hex number you'd like. Here's a great online color selector: http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any trouble with this. – Sanja, on December 21, 2009 01:48

Sanja replied on December 21, 2009 01:25 to the question "Pictures on blog not loading?" in Yola:
Hello Casey
I'm starting to see a pattern emerge with this issue that you speak of. My apologies for not understanding what you were trying to explain. I assume before you had problems, you had been using the "Collapse all posts" function and your images came through. Based on what you have been trying to tell us and from what I gather from other Yola users, it does appear there is a bug.
I have sent this information to our engineers.
As a workaround, you can select one of the other blog display options. If you wish to do this, you need to do the following:
1. Click "Edit" on the widget tool bar of the blog post. That will bring up a "Customize your blog display" option and you will be able to make your selections there.
2. You will then be able to select the number of posts displayed on the first page, or whether to expand all posts or just the first post only.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter.

Hi guys
It does seem like there is a bug that we need to fix. Can you please let answer the following questions for me? This will help our engineers to troubleshoot what's happening.
1. What was the original setting of your blog display?
- Expand First Post Only
- Expand All Posts
- Collapse All Posts
2. Are you able to change the settings from Collapse All Posts to a different display? Can you try this and update your site? Please let me know what you're seeing.
3. What browser and browser version are you using?
4. Please provide a site URL where you see this issue.
Thanks guys! I'm sorry that this is happening. We will try to get this fixed up as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience as we try to sort this out.

Hello Craig
I don't believe that what you're wanting to do is possible.
Yola allows you to create a private website, or make part of your site private, by password protecting certain pages on your site.
What this feature allows you to do:
1. Assign a single login ID (username) and password to your site.
2. Choose whether you want to lock (password protect) all the pages on your site.
3. You can then share the login ID and password with people you want to give access to the protected pages.
4. When they access your protected pages they will be asked to type in the login ID and password before viewing these pages.
What this feature does not do:
1. Allow people to register for a username and password on your site. This is a registration feature which we hope to release in future.
How to use the Password Protection feature:
1. Click on the Site Manager tab.
2. Click on "Site Password Protection" underneath the list of pages of your site.
3. Add a login name and password and tick the pages you would like to protect.
4. You can easily protect all your pages by clicking on "Lock All" or take off the password protection by clicking on "Unlock All"
5. When you create a new page, you will see a check box that gives you an option to protect (lock) the new page.
6. Preview your protected page to see what the login form will look like and to test your log in and password.
7. To make the change effective on your live site, click on the yellow 'Update my Site' button.
I'm sorry that I don't have any better news for you and I hope this will suffice. Perhaps others may have alternative ideas for you.

Sanja replied on December 20, 2009 22:37 to the problem "i cant go beyond Step 1. There is no 'continue' button" in Yola:
Hello shubhra
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this.
First of all, can you try clearing your cache in your browser. Here's a link with more information on how to do this: Clear cache and cookies.
Also, can you make sure that you have an updated version of flash. Click on this link.
If you have already bought a domain somewhere else, you can use it to publish your site, and still host your site with us for free! However, first you will need to configure your domain name to point to Yola. You do this by creating A records (address record) to point to this IP address: "208.75.208.172".
We have a tutorial outlining the steps to configuring your domain: Publish to a domain you already own.
For detailed instructions for a few specific domain registrars please click on this link: Domain Configuration with GoDaddy, Register.com & other domain registrars.
Once you've pointed your domain, watch a step-by-step video on how to publish your site using a domain you already own, please see: Publish to an external domain.
Please let us know if you still have trouble with this.

A comment on the question "How do I get a subdomain?" in Yola:
Hello theblackrayquaza
Are you asking if you can create a free sub-domain even though you have bought a domain elsewhere? Are you pointing your top-level domain to Yola or are you wanting the subdomain to point to your top-level domain elsewhere? If you could give us some further clarification, then we can give you more specific answers. – Sanja, on December 20, 2009 22:28
Sanja replied on December 20, 2009 22:18 to the question "Pictures on blog not loading?" in Yola:
Hi Casey
Did you by chance use the "image post" blog? I believe there may be a bug with this that we're looking into.
As a workaround, you can add your images through a text post and using the image icon to add your photos to your blog. Then, the picture will show up.
Sorry for the inconvenience but hopefully this workaround will suffice until a fix is put in place.
The other possibility is that you have chosen to collapse all your blog posts. If you wish to change the way that your blog posts are displayed on the page, you need to do the following:
1. Click "Edit" on the widget tool bar of the blog post. That will bring up a "Customize your blog display" option and you will be able to make your selections there.
2. You will then be able to select the number of posts displayed on the first page, or whether to expand all posts, the first post only, or collapse all posts.
Please let me know if you still have trouble with this.

I'm afraid I don't know of any voting system which also has a reward system.
Here are a couple of voting systems that you may want to look at but I don't think they have a reward attached to them.
