Yes, this is a limitation. Sorry! However, you could try auto-stacking to group together images taken within a short time of each other (which exposure bracketed shots tend to be), and use that to help filter.

In the Text search, you can choose Any Searchable Metadata, Searchable IPTC, Searchable EXIF, etc. to search the IPTC.

Faces uses a proprietary format and Lightroom cannot access it. We are investigating various features (including face recognition) for future releases.
