Hey,
You don't actually need to push the pound key, that's just a way to tell the system you're done typing in the number so you don't have to wait for a time out.
From the iphone app it's even easier - just dial the number from the built in dial pad.
I just want to mention the reason that we show the Rebtel number is that your friend can use that number to call you. Or hang up and call you back while you stay on the line to make a free call.

Maja Lindström replied on May 28, 2009 12:08 to the question "Call Divert to Rebtel Number" in Rebtel:
I guess that your UK mobile is one of the phones you have registered on your account, which means that Rebtel recognizes the caller ID when you call from that phone. That is how we know where to connect the call. When you divert your UK mobile to the 020 number assigned by Rebtel, and call it from another phone (let's call it A), the caller ID presented to Rebtel is probably the caller ID of phone A, which we do not recognize.
I guess you want your friends to be able to call your UK mobile and have their calls diverted to your Greek mobile through Rebtel to save money on roaming. We've been considering adding support for this scenario to our service. Thanks for bringing it up!
Best,
Maja
Maja Lindström replied on February 16, 2009 19:40 to the problem "WebSMS messages aren't delivered..." in Rebtel:
Hi Joanne,
After you pressed the send button, did you get a message popup saying that the messages were sent? If you check your account history - do the SMSes appear there? If not, they where never sent at all.
We will indeed add delivery reports for WebSMS so you can know for sure if they reached the recipient.
Best,
Maja

Maja Lindström replied on February 09, 2009 09:02 to the question "Is it possible to modify local number assignments to contacts?" in Rebtel:
Hi Dennis!
In what area code do you have your house? We continuously work on getting more local numbers in areas where we have many users, so with some luck new Rebtel numbers may be on their way to where you live.
The scenario you are describing is somewhat advanced but not totally uncommon. At the moment, there is no way to force the assignment of local numbers to a certain contact, but it is something we should definitely consider adding to our service in the future. Thank's for giving us this idea!

Hi!
You're not the only one who have reported this problem, so we will surely add a print option for the list. What info would you like to see on the print out? Is name and Rebtel number, plus Rebtel operator number and Rebtel SMS numebr sufficient or is there anything else we should add to the printed version?
Cheers,
Maja
Maja Lindström replied on December 04, 2008 08:27 to the question "How can I get a new PIN number?" in Rebtel:
Hi!
I'm sorry you're having problems. It could be that the email get stuck in you spam filter, so if you haven't already checked your junk folder, please try that.
If you can't get it to work via email, you can call the Rebtel access number in your country (select your country in the drop down on this page: http://www.rebtel.com/en/Utility-Page...) and select menu option 5. Then you'll be able to choose a new PIN on the phone.
I hope this will solve your problem!
Maja

Hi Andre,
I've just tried to repeat your problem with both FF3.04 and IE7 (not Opera), but it works like it should for me. If you can't get it to work it might be an issue with your account. I suggest that you send an email to our support team, customerteam@rebtel.com and they'll be happy to help you.
