Marco Botton replied on November 20, 2009 22:00 to the question "Navigating links in fullscreen mode - can I change to relative paths?" in Balsamiq:
Hi Jason, you should be able to zip the folder and send it to another computer. If it doesn't work, then probably we have a bug to fix! :-)
Can you mail some of those bmmls to marco@balsamiq.com? I will keep everything private.
It would be helpful to know what is the full path of the folder containing the bmmls.

Marco Botton replied on November 20, 2009 21:36 to the idea "Add OSX Quicklook support for bmml files" in Balsamiq:
Hi Petr, it looks like the plugins are not in the proper places.
Please copy manually the plugins in these folders:
/Users/youruser/Library/QuickLook/MockupsQuickLook.qlgenerator
/Users/youruser/Library/Spotlight/MockupsSpotlight.mdimporter
Then in the Terminal run these two commands:
qlmanage -r
/usr/bin/mdimport -r ~/Library/Spotlight/MockupsSpotlight.mdimporter
... and reboot, just to be sure that it takes the changes. ;-)
Let me know if it works!
Question: is your Mac Intel or PowerPC?

Marco Botton replied on November 03, 2009 09:58 to the question "Why does loading another BMML while in Full Screen Prensentation corrupts other opened BMMLs?" in Balsamiq:
Hi Simon, thank you for this detailed report!
We forgot to close the door when Mockups is in Presentation mode: it is not allowed to load files. The new Next build, available in minutes here http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock..., fixes the problem.
Now Mockups ignores any request to open files when in Presentation mode.
Let me know if it doesn't work for you.

Marco Botton replied on October 28, 2009 22:35 to the idea "Add OSX Quicklook support for bmml files" in Balsamiq:
Hi Anthony, running the install script should be enough. Few questions which will help us in tracking what happens:
- is Balsamiq Mockups located in the /Applications folder?
- if you open the Quick Look window for a bmml file, which file type is reported? (it can be com.balsamiq.MockupsFile or com.balsamiq.mockupsfile all lowercase)
- do you see the plugins in /Users/youruser/Library/Spotlight and /Users/youruser/Library/QuickLook ?
- if you copy and paste this command in the Terminal:
qlmanage -m plugins | grep balsamiq
and hit Return, the output should be like this:
com.balsamiq.mockupfile -> /Users/marco/Library/QuickLook/MockupsQuickLook.qlgenerator (1.0)
Is it?
Thank you and let me know!

Hi Stephen, it will help us a lot to have a bmml file with broken image links, as well as the full path where it is located.
Could you please send to marco@balsamiq.com a zip with a bmml and the images?

Marco Botton replied on October 12, 2009 08:07 to the question "Fogbugz OnDemand error" in Balsamiq:
Pat, everything looks good here. I suspect that the error was caused by a bug in our plugin that happens when reading user informations from Spreedly, the service we use for payments. We will release very soon a new version of the plugin that addresses this issue.
Anyway, it seems not your case...
Is the error you reported still occurring?
Are you able to load the configuration page of Balsamiq Mockups plugin without errors?
Sorry again for the troubles!

Marco Botton replied on October 08, 2009 15:04 to the question "Can't install Mockups on Fogbugz 7." in Balsamiq:
The size and hash of the file are good. The name has a " (1)" that shouldn't be there, but I am able to upload the plugin here without errors using that name.
To exclude completely a plugin file problem, here http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/41723/buil... is another copy of the plugin.
The problem appears to be in FogBugz itself. I contacted FogCreek team to get some help. In the meantime, can you please try to remove all files related to Balsamiq Mockups from the cache folder of FogBugz and upload the plugin again?
C:\Program Files\FogBugz\Plugins\cache
Marco Botton replied on October 08, 2009 10:19 to the question "Can't install Mockups on Fogbugz 7." in Balsamiq:
Hello Peter, we'd like your help debugging this issue.
Two questions:
- can you check to see if you see the plugin's unzipped folder in the C:\Program Files\FogBugz\Plugins\cache folder?
- could you please look at the Windows Event Viewer (under Administration Tools) and see if you find any errors originating from either FogBugz or an "ASP.NET 2.0.xxx" application? If there's anything there, please send us the error, as it would tell us exactly what the issue is. I'm attaching an image taken from Vista (in Italian, sorry) to show the filter that should catch all relevant informations.
Thank you for the collaboration
Ciao
