Marije replied on November 28, 2009 11:48 to the question "ezyfishing.co.nz - I cant get the fixed width layout properly centered." in Yola:
Hi raxmusrubbish,
I think that the reason this is happening on your home page is because you have content which seems to be extending past the body of the page on the right hand side in the site builder. I'm not sure why this is happening and I'm going to ask one of my colleagues for some advice and will come back to you.
I also notice that your site redirects to your .yolasite.com address. If you would like ezyfishing.co.nz to be your primary domain, please follow the steps on this link: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

Marije replied on November 28, 2009 08:00 to the question "Paypal error message" in Yola:
Hi jwoodperson,
I've searched for an answer for the error you are seeing and one of the problems appears to be using double-quote marks when adding sizes - if you have double-quote marks when creating the button, you must remove them. Any additional characters or spaces that could be added to your settings can also affect the buttons.
Here are some threads that may help:

Can you check that out on your side and let us know if that helps at all?

Hi Jeffrey - if you've purchased a domain and it's still not working, please post the domain name here so that we can try and find out if anything's gone wrong. You can also send an email to us (support@yola.com) so that we can help you. – Marije, on November 28, 2009 07:17
Marije replied on November 28, 2009 07:15 to the question "Do you work with Issuu?" in Yola:
Hi Irorabaugh,
You can definitely add Issuu to your site! Once you've uploaded the document to your Issuu account, select your file and click on "Embed". In the next page, customize your settings and then copy the "Embed code" at the top.
Back on your Yola site, follow these steps:
1. Drag and drop an HTML widget from the sidebar on the right onto your page (the icon for this is a blue sphere).
2. An HTML editor will open up that will allow you to write or paste in your code. When you are done, click "ok".
Remember to click on "Update my Site".
I hope that helps! Please let us know if you need any other information.

Marije replied on November 26, 2009 19:08 to the question "How can I have a 2 in 1 background for my blog?" in Yola:
Hi Dana,
It's tricky having a background that is a picture and not something like a pattern or color that can be repeated. People who view your site have different size screens that have different resolutions on different browsers and it's likely that it will look different on all of them!
I have been trying to edit your image so that it fits better - is this more like what you're after? http://sdfsdfsfsfsfdsd.yolasite.com/
I can continue to edit the image (it's a finicky process), but I'm not sure if it's on the right track.
Marije replied on November 26, 2009 18:24 to the question "Benefits of having a premium account?" in Yola:
Hi Mike,
Thank you for posting! I'm sure there are other people who may have similar questions :)
To answer your questions:
1. Upload and use your own templates(purchased or downloaded from elsewhere)?
This is not possible on Yola - you can edit your style with your own CSS or by changing banners and backgrounds: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/persona.... You may find our style guide useful: http://www.yola.com/yola-style-guide.
2. Have email addresses linked to your website?
Email is not included with Yola Pro because an email service requires a professional domain which is also not a feature of the bundle, domains are sold separately.
If you need a domain name for your site, you will need to purchase this in addition to Yola Pro, or you can use a free Yola account and still purchase a domain if you wish to. If you would like more information on purchasing a professional domain here is a link to our tutorial: http://www.yola.com/buying-your-domai....
When you buy a domain name from Yola we provide you with full DNS management, which includes the ability to set up email addresses linked to your domain. You can do this with the email service of your choice. We recommend Google Apps as a really easy to use option and you can have up to 50 email addresses with a free account! We have a tutorial explaining the steps to setting up your email address with Google Apps or Windows Live, please click on this link: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/creatin....
I hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Marije replied on November 26, 2009 16:56 to the question "RSS feed issues" in Yola:
Hi Lee - I think the reason for this was posted on another thread and I'm sorry I didn't come back and add it here.
Are you using Firefox? The reason you are seeing a blog RSS feed display differently is because of the way your browser is interpreting the page. When you click on a blog RSS feed, you'll see that the URL in the browser starts with "feed://" instead of "http://".
In Firefox, it disregards "feed://" after clicking on it once and converts it to a normal URL. This means that the page will display as an XML file and not a pretty RSS feed page. It doesn't mean it's broken, it just appears a bit differently. You will still be able to use the RSS feed URL for RSS feed functions.
Having said that, I've clicked on the RSS link on your homepage (http://hexham.info/forum.rss) and I get the same page each time. Can you check to see if there's a change in the URL for the XML page that you see?

I've merged the other thread with this one - if you would like to post the domain name you've purchased, I will be able to look it up to get more information. Could you also let us know what is going wrong? – Marije, on November 26, 2009 16:26
