Mario Menti replied on November 23, 2009 08:56 to the problem "how to prevent my friend's twitterfeed from posting my facebook posts?" in twitterfeed:
We can't really control the content of a feed, so if the RSS feed provided contains information that you don't want to be shared, you'd either have to talk to that friend to perhaps ask him to stop doing this altogether, or within Facebook you could adjust our privacy settings to not share certain info with that particular user - if you click on "Settings" -> "Privacy Settings" -> "Profile", you can exclude certain friends from seeing certain aspects of our Facebook activity.
A comment on the problem "Only showing one of my Twitter accounts, but still posting to all" in twitterfeed:
Perhaps I'm just confused, but I can see 3 feeds going to @nachoexr, but they are all under the Verisign OpenID. I can see the user account for OpenID http://www.elagiomedia.net, but there are no existing feeds set up under that. Maybe I'm still missing something, but I can't seem to see any other feeds going to that account. – Mario Menti, on November 23, 2009 08:48
A comment on the question "Cannot find my twitterfeed account." in twitterfeed:
Without giving the entire email address, you have 2 feed under 2 accounts, one an email starting with "jklc13@.." and one "jkljc13@..". You may be able to login with each, and delete one of the feeds? If not, can you send us a message at @twfeed on twitter, from the @JKLJC account (which confirms that you own the account), and let us know which one of these accounts/feeds you want removed. – Mario Menti, on November 23, 2009 08:41
A comment on the question "my friend's facebook status updates are feeding to my twitter account. Help!" in twitterfeed:
This feed was set up under a myvidoop OpenID, you should be able to login to twitterfeed via "Sign In with OpenID" -> click the "OpenID" image/button -> enter "benjaminady.myvidoop.com". Once logged in you should be able to delete the feed. – Mario Menti, on November 23, 2009 08:37

A comment on the problem "TwitterFeed Dashboard Reporting Incorrect Titles for Posts from Blogger" in twitterfeed:
Apologies for this, definitely seems that there's some issue in your feed/account with the post titles we're saving. We'll need to take a closer look and dig a bit deeper, but in the meantime rest assured that this issue is related to the link between the items posted to your account, and the corresponding titles we store/match to these, so the posting to twitter is not affected by this, it's only the dashboard display that's incorrect. Sorry again for the inconvenience. – Mario Menti, on November 22, 2009 23:28
A comment on the problem "Feed detail saying checked OK but no entries while also showing the entries." in twitterfeed:
If the problem persists, could you let me know the twitter account you're posting to, and I'll try and take a closer look. – Mario Menti, on November 22, 2009 23:11
Mario Menti replied on November 22, 2009 23:10 to the question "Where to get the "Retweet" button for blogs..." in twitterfeed:
This has nothing to do with twitterfeed - we post updates from a given RSS/Atom feed to your twitter or Facebook accounts, nothing else. So I"m afraid this isn't the right place to ask - although I happen to know that http://tweetmeme.com offer a re-tweet button, but we are not affiliated with that service.

Re. the feed http://www.justdrink.dk/feed.xml?short posting to @justdrinkdk, it seems the newest item ("Jäger Bomb") has already been posted to twitter (http://twitter.com/justdrinkdk/status...)
The same goes for the other feed (http://justdrink.eu/feed.xml?short), but in addition this feed has an XML error (see http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?ur...), you should escape any ampersand characters as their XML entities in an XML document.
Mario Menti replied on November 22, 2009 22:58 to the problem "Joomla 1.5 formatting problems to facebook." in twitterfeed:
There may be a couple of issues - we're still trying to find a way to post HTML entities to the facebook API correctly, we're aware of some issues with rich quotes and similar entities which get displayed incorrectly.
The description of the post I believe will always be just a "lump of text" though, as the facebook API, as far as I can tell, does not support posting HTML code, just plain text.

Mario Menti replied on November 22, 2009 22:49 to the question "Twitterfeed posting twice?" in twitterfeed:
I can only see one entry in the database for this feed - I can't see any duplicates in your timeline either, apart from some posts where the same content came once from twitterfeed and once from Posterous - if that's the problem, then you'll just need to turn off one of the services. Let me know if I missed something though...
A comment on the question "Feeds not loading into Twitter" in twitterfeed:
You seem to have some incorrect publish dates on some items (e.g. "Wed, 31 Dec 1969 16:00:00 -0800") - have you tried using the "post new items based on GUID" option in the "advanced settings"? This may work better for a feed like this, because it ignores the pubDates, so incorrect pubDate shouldn't then cause a problem. – Mario Menti, on November 22, 2009 22:44
A comment on the question "Feeds not loading into Twitter" in twitterfeed:
The newest item in that feed (Episode 6) seems to have been posted to twitter ok (http://twitter.com/AdVerve/status/592...), so once new items appear in the feed they should then be posted. – Mario Menti, on November 22, 2009 22:40
A comment on the question "Need to undo phrase on auto-update posts" in twitterfeed:
If you can't sign in with the original OpenID anymore, you could register a new account on twitterfeed, and then contact us on twitter at @twfeed with the details of the new account, from the twitter account you are posting to (as this confirms that you own the account), and we'll be able to move your existing feed(s) to the new account. – Mario Menti, on November 22, 2009 22:37
A comment on the question "Linking HelloTxt" in twitterfeed:
I can't replicate this at all - if you like, you could email me your HelloTxt API key (mario at betaworks dot com), I couldn't replicate this with any test accounts, just as long as I had existing services setup in HelloTxt. – Mario Menti, on November 22, 2009 22:35
