A comment on the question "What about adding identica support ?" in atebits:
I've just had exactly the same happen to me. I deleted my Twitter account, and re-added it, which re-enabled Twitter, but caused this problem in identi.ca. I'm guessing that the credentials are keyed on the username, when ideally they would be keyed on both username and api path – MatStace, on October 10, 2009 10:50

I've just been thinking the same thing, and digging around inthe tweetie V2.0 help file I notice it states
"You could leverage this to use alternative microblogging services with Tweetie, though this feature is not yet "officially" supported and may not work as expected."
I guess I'll be hitting buy... – MatStace, on October 09, 2009 21:44

#hashtags at end of sentences aren't linkedIt looks like #hashtags which fall at the end of sentences, and which have had a full stop placed next to them aren't being matched (see attached screengrab - assuming I've uploaded it correctly ;p )
I guess that it's the hashtag matching regex looking for something like the hash character, followed by a string of alphanumerics, followed by a space. This would be better if it was hash character, followed by alphanumeric string, followed by non-alphanumeric character, mean that things like
Well that was a massive #fail!
would have the #fail matched.-

Delete DM in Twhirl triggers overlimit warning and pauseWhen clicking the delete icon on a direct twitter message in Twhirl, I get the "Rate limit exceded, pasing for 5 minutes" message. Initially I thought this was due to having twhirl and socialthing going at the same time, but after shutting down socialthing, and waiting a couple of hours, and dropping the twhirl api request rate to 10/hour, I get the same thing.
Also, when hovering over the API health icon, it tells me that I've used (for example) 15 of 100 requests.
I think this may be down to the CSRF protection twitter added recently.-

Flickr links in comments not linking fullyI've just noticed that in the "conversations" (specifically a comment from pownce) that flickr links are chopping off early. The auto-convert http://etc to a hyperlink is stopping at the @ sign in the link, so the link is missing @N00 from the end (in this particular case). I guess that there needs to be a few more non alpha-numeric characters added to the auto link preg_match.
